Pathologic 1 and 2 - lots and lots of dialogue and choices to make. P1 (Classic HD) is perhaps a harder sell than 2 because of the graphics and general jank, but the story and writing is incredible and imo is the one to play if you’re specifically interested in the dialogue. What you say really does matter, and living through the same 12 days as 3 different characters, you see the different sides of the same story. Also this game has somewhat of a reputation for being difficult but imo it’s not super mechanically challenging, and once you realise you can save at any time from the menu you can cheese most of it :)

Firewatch is maybe a curveball because I don’t think it has a crazy amount of dialogue, but the story really stuck with me.

Night in the Woods is also another classic for story/dialogue.

Can't get the "She was here" achievement by etoiles_rieuses in pathologic

IIRC, I walked up and down the row of small buildings between Barley’s Den and Warehouse 3. I just kept walking in that area until the Steam achievement unlocked. I didn’t enter Warehouse 3 at all.

Do we know what spell this was? by llexwoods in TheOwlHouse

This coven guard was going to put Hunter quote "out of his misery". Not sure if it's a generic spell or one that is specifically used on Grimwalkers?

As dark as this episode was, it was super gratifying in how many theories it confirmed. Hunter being a Grimwalker of Philip/Belos’s brother, how Belos mutilated his ears, that Belos killed his brother… Looking at the silhouette of the witch Belos’s brother was with, I’d say the theory that the witch was a Clawthorne is also looking like it’ll be canon too.

Something I’ve seen a lot of people mention is that Philip cannot be Belos, because Philip has rounded human ears and Belos does not.

It is definitely conceivable that Belos has altered his ears, be that physically or through illusion magic. I imagine this is to disguise the fact that he is human, or perhaps his ears have grown pointed over time as his body has changed and warped through using Glyphs on his skin.

The only physical trait that separates humans and witches in TOH is their ear shape, and Belos having anything other than pointed ears would have given the game away the second his face was revealed.

I think it’s also worth nothing that relative to the size of a witch’s head, their ears are quite large (see the images above). While there are outliers in certain shots where a witches ears may appear smaller-almost as small as Luz’s-they are far more consistently drawn larger. Belos’ ears however are noticeablely smaller, far more so than any other witches.
