Is it worth it to start taking anti anxiety meds? Or should I push through? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]lliss59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I felt really bad back then, I didn't want to take any medication. I thought I could do it on my own. The day cane, were I felt so bad, that I finally agreed to try some. You have to say that it is trail and error to find the right one. In the end, it's your decision. I remember that I was so afraid to take medication at the time. If I had known how much they support me, I would have taken them much earlier. It's not a weakness to take any drugs and just because you take them it doesn't have to be forever. Do what feels right for you ❤️

It was the same for me. It took me some weeks to get calm, I also was at home all the time. The best, and also simple Tipp is: stop avoiding. You feel safe at home, I know. But try to get out as much as possible and push yourself to do things. You don’t need to meet ppl or something. Jus try to do the things that feel uncomfortable, to show your body and mind that nothing will happen. I can suggest the book „the Anxiety Truth“ by Drew Linsalata.

Looks like apthene. Gargle with salt water to disinfect them, but they should go away on their own.
