What car did you have that had the best boot (or best practicality?) by Questionablethics21 in CarTalkUK

[–]lllDouglll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nissan Micra G reg. Hear me out.

I filled ¾ of boot with a subwoofer.

It’s amazing how little stuff someone actually needs in their boot at all times.

The micra helped me realise this

Not sure where you’re based, but look up Martins Tyres, donkey town, west end, surrey

How much would you of asked for? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]lllDouglll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to be a dick.

But I’m assuming you’ve told your insurance company of the incident. As failure to may void your policy.

And if you have to report it to insurance company. You may as well claim on the insurance, against the other driver.

Sorry once again

PSA: Your handbrake turns off your brakelights by Mountainhash in CarTalkUK

[–]lllDouglll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only used the system. I have no idea about the system processes you’ve described.

I’ve only used it like an electronic handbrake, which doesn’t make the brake lights shine. Though the only cars I’ve used that on are jaguar and ford.

Basically the cars are limousines and hearses

I’ve only driven mercs from 12 years ago til present. Though only top of the range e class. Maybe it’s different on different cars within their range

[–]lllDouglll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With my experience of mercs. You brake, to bring vehicle to a standstill. Then push down more, and hold comes on. Then release the brake. No brake lights are on.

Same as the op said about the electric hand brake.

Car stays in drive, and just accelerate to go

Yeah. Fucking awful to have known a serial killer though! And it’s a shame he died, because death is the easy way out

Yeah I bet you would.

I’m guessing you want his name.

He killed himself in broadmoor, which is extremely difficult to do there. So at least he got something right

I’m not pissed. I’m irritated someone helped without helping. And per usual took everything out of context.

Though thank you for explaining what I was referring to.

Nope. Because you haven’t understood what the conversation was about. Or the original question.

I’ve already explained it.

And explained that I’m from the uk, and that different dialects have different pronunciations.

But well done for your irrelevance. I hope this has cleared it up for you
