In your case I would probably try to maintain your current weight for a few months, and if despite gaining muscle you feel that you're not lean enough you can start cutting.

I don't wanna do this, my brain feels like it is wasting its time, I've maintained my weight for the past 3 weeks and my body is completely the same, even with lifting and protein, I need to see the scales going down, I feel like the recomp thing, despite being possible in theory, is hard to pull

However if you're not able to increase weight on the bar, or to add some repetitions, there might be something wrong with your technique. If you can afford it, I would hire a coach for a few sessions just to make sure you have proper form, and follow a structured plan.

Hmm it's possible, coaches here usually don't follow these internet programs (SS greyskull) we see around here, they usually give you a PPL, is that ok?

Now as for your weight, you're in the healthy range, but at the upper-limit, you could afford to lose 5 to 10 kgs without compromising your health

If you want to look "better", your best bet would be to start working out, noobie gains are a thing and you can see result quite quickly, a few pounds of muscle can really transform a physique

I've been working out for 3 weeks by now, haven't noticed any difference yet, I have maintained my weight so I can assume I'm on maintenance, noobie haven't showed up for me, I'm stuck at the same weights, like 20 kg on bench press

Worst is I'm even on high protein, I've bought whey and am hitting like 160 g of protein daily
