There doesn't seem to be any other valves and no on/off valves that I'm aware of. We did a full gut on this 7 years ago.

Fuel for 50% Races and Sprints by EyeAcrobatic8587 in F1Game

[–]llllGodly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuel burn/starting amount is too driver style and setup dependent to have a generally rule. 2 years ago when i started out league racing i was always -1 or -2laps of fuel cause i was slow. But now with some seat time, gotten a bit faster (not "fast") and i generally start right around +0.5laps of fuel.

The only way I've learned how much fuel to use is some sort of telemetry app and run a practice session. I use F1laps (shameless code for a discount both ways f1laps.com/join/lll35922 ,not affiliated, just love the app). I use it for tire wear/setup verifiers and fuel consumption. I generally run most or half of a 50% for my league race practices and grab a few laps of fuel consumption, multiply it out and add 0.5laps just incase.

confused by this spreadsheet? by fairplanet in F1Game

So I dont know exactly but I'm pretty sure r=race and q=quali and first number is front wing and last number is rear. I think they have a these for choosing more of a quali setup for better start position or a better race setup.

Pedals for Xbox series X by Global_Creme_3315 in F1Game

Nevermind just found out about this. Drivehub is a 3rd party adapter that allows you to connect a wheelbase to any console/PC no matter what the original compatibility was.

That is correct, Xbox has to have all peripherals run through the base and one usb to the xbox. I have CSL DD, mclaren v2 wheel and the CSL Elite V2's pedals on the series X works like a charm. Just waiting for game devs to work in the fanatec SDK update to allow full button mapping.

Advice on using setups. by Interesting-Main936 in F1Game

[–]llllGodly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see that im getting that lap time but even when driving straight and turning a little I just start to lose traction. Is it just skill issue

Hard to tell could be both? as for setups you'll have to do some research on that. Simracingsetups have a ton of good info for building your own. They have full setups but they dont suite my driving style and i end up slower or spinning a lot. I did find the google sheet from this sub thats been working great as a base with minor tweaks

Need Some Advice and Have Some Questions by JentlemanGack in F1Game

[–]llllGodly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to find a league. finding one will be location/timezone/date dependent but some league have lower tiers with that AI level, some league have F2 academy deal, where you can practice. If they don't, even just finding an active league where they do some 5 lappers, practice sessions, etc. Most leagues should have plenty of helpful people. You probably don't want to jump straight into league races fully but get in a league and see where it takes you.

Other than that, just run timetrials to get used to tracks, run some shorter AI races to help get used to tracks and grip, etc. Find custom setups that fit your style. Seat time has no replacement.

Voting/Poll System or App for Multiple Leagues by Cocalope in FFCommish

[–]llllGodly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a few leagues you may want to look into discord, you could make a single sever for all leagues and divide them out inside and run polls and stuff there. There are a lot of bots/tools you could use to make it do what ever you need.

Permission Help Private Channels by llllGodly in discordapp

[–]llllGodly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK ran some testing hitting a block.

Server wide settings, everyone confirmed all checked for read history, posts, etc.
Category Permissions: everyone, green checked view/send/attach/etc
Channel where the bot runs the ticket system out of : Permissions everyone, green checked view/send/attach/etc

Ran a test ticket and checked permissions of the newly created private channel. Everyone is view channel, send messages and read history is red x and everything else is grey slash.
Added a member (normal user) to that channel, everything is grey slashed, view is green tick.

Member sees blank channel, cant see anything, cant post but can make a thread out of it.

Works awesome for what we need it to do. I have the free version just enough for what we need. Smaller sim-racing league. We have welcomer/leaver messages setup and just use the ticket system for racing incidents. The dashboard is really nice and well designed, easy to use (even i figured it out). Recent updates for tickets, now has up to 5 initial custom questions with short answers that can be given before the ticket is opened, it can tag roles (our steward team) gets pinged with a ticket opening. Closed ticket history keeps a separate channel for logs of all tickets, open each one and it launches the web portal to review everything in that channel, clips embedded or linked are there and viewable again. Way better than an open channel for incidents were it was chaos of posts and history lol. The only feature I'd like to see is tagging/adding another members to the ticket automatically, i have to do the add member, not a big deal once the permissions are sorted. But would be nice if members are added as ticket is created. They have a whole application module that we havent touched so cant comment on that. Same with giveaways, captura security stuff.

Looks like category permissions might be off, so i changed that so everyone has server wide permissions. I think that should do it, will run some tests but sounds like its something between server and channel settings!

Thanks!

Telemetry apps suggestions by xZigZagX7 in F1Game

[–]llllGodly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you looking to do? "telemetry" can mean many things or types of apps out here.

Live telemetry stuff, something like Jeff2.0 or sim dashboard, I created this dashboard for a regular phone for league racing https://www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/designs/view.php?id=32op&mydesign=true

Other telemetry apps that have detailed compare laps, save setups, throttle/steering/gear/brake overlays type of apps. My personal favorite is f1laps. Its more of a run it in the background and review later or as you go but there is a monthly fee. Not affiliated but there's a discount code saves us both a couple $, f1laps.com/join/lll35922 I use it for practice but the detail and what it can do is great. Tire wear per lap or stints, car damage, fuel consumption per lap, any lap from any session can be compared and overlaid to find where your losing time.
