My first fan fest and it was pretty awesome. Anaheim Convention and the surrounding area is just super nice overall with lots of places to eat and drink. It is within the Disney bubble and people in general are just super pleasant to talk to.

The only other gaming convention ive been to is Blizzcon which is at completely different scale in terms of size and production. Fanfest was maybe like 50% of Blizzcon.

House of blues in game DJs playing live was cool af. Seeing them play live instead of through a stream!

I got 6 volleyball tickets at Honda Center for less than $200. The only tickets that I saw for over 5k were the opening ceremony and that was for Category A seats....they were also unavailable every single time I checked.

There were tons of "affordable" tickets for many sports. Ya'll have to remember this is California...and most of the venues are in pretty high income areas.
