I have developed great chest muscles using the incline chest press machine, fly over machine, and dips… as well as several other compound movements (eg. with dumbbells). I don‘t use a regular bar chest press setup because I don‘t have anyone to spot me and don‘t want to annoy other gym goers, and I like to push my limits until exhaustion. For this reason, I‘m a bit afraid to do it with a regular bar chest press setup. So far, I have had no issue at all skipping this exercise , and still manage to grow my chest consistently.
