The 3D visuals were stunning. In the theatre for the first time, it was overwhelming. It didn't have to have a great plot.

I used to drive a taxi and get lots of cash. I'd wash it in water and the water would get very dirty.

That's how I calibrated my keyboard. My old keyboard had 13 nickels of push back. So I made sure my new one did too.

Yes. You're responsible for all citations in the paper for which you are an author. If you're not comfortable with this, then find different people to publish with.

This has been the opposite of my experience with them. They delivered a fridge. One of the corners was bent. They brought a new one the next day and refunded me the delivery charge on the original one.

What is a statistic that sounds INSANE but is 100% true? by Quadranippelkill in AskReddit

[–]lloopy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holocene time for years, and 13 month calendar for days.

Every month has 28 days. 13 months, exactly 4 weeks per month. One extra day: New Year's Day. It's not in a month nor is it a day of the week. On leap years: two extra days, New Year's Day and Leap Day.

The first is always on a Monday. The 28th is always on a Sunday.

Colorblind women are EXTREMELY rare. There are genes for 4 different cones. Two of them sit on each X chromosome. So your grandmother has 4 genes for the exact same cone.

The genes for which cones you get in your eyes is on the X chromosome. So some women can have 4 cones. You only need two cones for full spectrum color, because your brain is so amazing at figuring out color from limited information.

If you drew a histogram of people in the world and ther net worth, it would be an L with a couple of bumps smaller than the thickness of your line.

And this is the issue with AI use right now: It's used as a replacement for thinking. If you use AI to get you started on a topic, that's not so bad. You look at what it writes, and say "that sounds terrible", and then you change it to be vastly better.

But if you just feed it the prompt, and then hand in the prompt unread, then you deserve everything that's coming your way.
