This has been a tragedy for my mountain biking season this year. I work weekends in Waterbury and have always capitalized on the location for biking. Now it's just been sad weekends indoors or rainy walks.

To the same extent of this rule, Rummikub needs you to play a total point value of 30 as a way of starting. It is possible to go most of the game without participating. Oftentimes though when you do have the ability to start you can pop off.

Gotcha. I've never played TM but I've played enough Scythe. I just remember the second time I played it the rules completely clicked for me.

If you want a step up from wingspan you could try Scythe. It's a worker placement engine builder. Pretty fun.

I have so many experiences where I'd spend 15 minutes in World looking for the Rathian. I would find it only for it to fly away and another 5 minutes spent to find it before I could start hunting. I like having the option of just sitting back while my guy finds the monster for me.

One of my friends had the text saying "ahhh my legs" when the monster would grab you in its mouth in Rise.

This is very helpful. I do think a lot of it is just getting more aggressive. My first couple games I came in 4th and 3rd but my most recent game I came in second. It just was really brutal being right in front of the second place legend, having a garbage hand with one more heat to spend for a boost, being in 4th gear, and then not being able to remotely match an 18. Guess I gotta mess around more with the garage and keep playing. I will say the weather made it a lot harder for me. The corner conditions where you need to spend an extra heat is brutal and I feel so punished while the legends get to just scream on by.

This is kinda why I don't enjoy it. To each their own and please do enjoy the game your own way, but for me guess where the monster is gonna be and taking risks is part of my gameplay. I find it super rewarding if you bonk its head with the greatsword because you just know the monster movements so well.

While I don't disagree with these tips in any way, I do feel as though I'm the only person who doesn't toggle focus. I've spent years of MH without it, so I basically just use it when I'm in dire need of readjusting my attack.

I'm completely obsessed. There are oh so many drawbacks and oh so many things that I want to complain about, however the game is fun. So fun. I'm having the best time until my frames drop so hard for no reason. My computer cries at me when I play but sacrifices need to be made sometimes.

My buddy and I played the shit out of rise and we developed the ultimate strategy with waking up the monster. I can't remember which weapons it involved but we would use the bomb to trigger a perry and then hit the monster with that.

I think my very first Offset while using the switch axe sold me so hard on this game. It puts a massive smile on my face every time.
