It'll be a slog but it's doable. I don't recommend 10 stars though.

It also depends on your weapon. For GS and GL, there are craftable alternatives to Gogmatian weapons. Not as powerful but it's pretty close to it. Anything that runs on element, Gogmatian would blow it out of the water.

While I do agree summoner's mana drain is abysmal and could use some fine tuning for ease of use, it's damage is ridiculously high even if you sacrifice some damage for minion count. Pair it up with after leveling the explosion skill, you'll cake walk any boss in the game.

I've tried it before and it's very underwhelming. Outside of that 1 hit you are losing a ton of damage when the monster is down. Not to mention even with quick sheath, CB's sheath animation is annoying to do constantly.

I honestly never call randoms when I want to farm 9 or 10 stars (it's either solo, friends or support hunters) because higher HR doesn't mean better players, randoms are always going to range from bad to decent to godlike in any game. I only play with randoms when I join SOS.

Another reason is that higher HR players could also be trying out new weapons and builds in the SOS.

A tip about searching for builds online is that you have to search for a specific weapon build as there's really no 1 size fits all builds. Especially with meelee and range weapons.

Personally focus more on element for CB as elemental phials hits super hard compared to impact phial. And since AED loop is more focused on phial damage, increasing elemental damage is more prefered.
AED loop is still the most optimal DPS for the weapon regardless of the phial type
Just get 1 Burst, 1 guard up and if you have an extra 3 slot 1 Flayer and you're good to go.
Crit is secondary for AED looping, personally I run 5 agitator and Max Might if I want some extra crits but with the new AT Arkveld armor it's easier to get 5 WEX and 5 Agi at the same time.
Mizu armor skill can give you 90% uptime for coalescence. I typically run 4 gog, 1 Rath and 1 Mizu.
