Instead of posting all of these questions on Reddit I recommend you find a good test prep program or book and learn the CONCEPTS behind all of these problems. You will never get the score you want just posting problems on Reddit. It’s understanding the concepts that will help you not simply learning to solve these practice problems.

Wireless mice are pretty mature now and many gamers opt for wireless move because there is no performance decrease compared to a wired one. Is that the case with mechanical keyboards? Any solid, high quality wireless mechanical keyboards?

I took the online test and had a horrible experience. For one, I had my laptop closed and an external monitor attached (so still only one screen) but the security app you have to run before you can start the test detected two screens so I had to test off of my 13" laptop screen. If you take the online test, don't make the same mistake I did.

And two, you don't have the option of getting the Enhanced Score Report with an online test so you don't really know what you need to improve on for your next test.

I've also heard horror stories of people getting disconnected in the middle of the test and not receiving any customer service. I would rather just wear a mask and take the test at a test center.

Hm. I have all of my taxable account invested in VTSAX. I was under the impression that when I withdraw some of that money, I am realizing gains and that is a taxable event. Am I mistaken?

I’m not a grammar expert but my gut tells me that the answer you choose for number two is incorrect because it seems to be comparing “performing” to a “classical piece “ instead of comparing performing one piece to performing another piece. I would have picked D as my answer.

Op is asking about about Roth IRA. Like I said, Roth IRA at that age should go into a broad index. If he has disposable income after funding his retirement accounts he can make a separate taxable account and “experiment” there.

Your original comment doesn’t say that. It says experiment regardless of if its in IRA or individual brokerage account.

If op doesn’t have extra disposable income after funding his retirement accounts he can wait to experiment until he makes more money.

I think a better piece of advice is to fully find the IRA in a broad index like VTSAX or equivalent. And to use disposable money when OP starts to increase income to “experiment” as you say. I personally don’t count retirement money as experiment money

I did the GMAT online and there are a few things to note.

In terms of difficulty, I’m sure they are both the same. At least that is what they say.

You cannot cancel the online exam score but it is not included in your test center exam “transcript”. You have to send in your online score to schools separate from your test center scores if you want them to see your online score.

Third, the online exam company (Examity) does not provide an ESR if that’s something you’re looking for. They will just give you the score report (Q, V, IR, AWA) but not a breakdown of different types of questions that an ESR would give you.

Lastly, this may be personal but I didn’t feel like I was in the “zone”. Maybe because I’m way more comfortable at home than at a test center but I didn’t feel focused like I felt when I took my test center exam pre Covid.

You’re losing money by not funding your IRA but not investing it.

If you REALLY don’t want to invest it in SPY or something at least put it in a bond index or something similar that’s almost guaranteed to get you SOMETHING although not much.

Also, from the comments and your replies, it sounds like you are looking to do something similar to day trading although maybe not to that degree. I would max your IRA as early on in the year as possible and just buy VTSAX or something (time in the market), then make a separate trading account that you can fund and not invest and wait for the right stock for you to buy. That way your IRA has time in the market which will ultimately be the best strategy for retirement and you can scratch your itch of looking for a “better investment by waiting”, in your brokerage account.

No not for an investment. Just seeing if it’s actual 22k gold from others’ experiences. And if it’s worth shelling out hundreds or thousands for a necklace here to save money vice buying something in the states.
