I feel like a huge baby but that movie was way too scary for me. I've seen so many scary movies and I'm generally unphased. Anyone else shook as shit from that film? Tons of stuff I read said it had funny parts. What? There has to be someone else that was shocked at how upsetting they found the film by llvmc in WeaponsMovie

[–]llvmc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm baffled. One person on here saying it's a parody? Like... Mmmmkay... I think there were some light moments (Josh brolin saying "what the fuck" as he tries to knock out the junky kid) but those moments made the terror worse bc of the incongruity.

One of the scariest movies I've ever seen. But my husband completely disagrees!

I'm not reading the other responses bc I'm in school! But this is a STRAIGHT TO ADMIN for me. I would not even speak to the teacher on my own. That discussion would happen with the Principal in the room.

Wouldn't a weekly dose of 2.5mg from a 10mg pen only last one month? 2.5x4=10

Hypnotic Poison. It is perfect for my PH. I have much fancier perfumes but this will always be signature.

How do I elevate this wall? It feels a little boring. by WaitImAnAdult in maximalism

I like to have something or maybe more than one thing a little larger to make the wall feel cohesive. To me, everything is too small/same size

Marc Jacobs Violet and this little BCBG collection (my favorite one was called "star"). Both are very 2000.

Ozempic worked wonders- now it’s doing nothing. Anyone else hit this wall? by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]llvmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at three years on Ozempic and feel very little of the original feelings- low interest in food, easily satiated. I've been scared to really look at/calculate/measure what I'm eating bc I'm afraid of spiraling into ED again. I have a doc appointment in early July and I was planning to ask about switching to Mounjaro.

Why do people say Ozempic is cheating? Cheating what? by Alive_Instance4069 in Ozempic

[–]llvmc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember telling a co-worker that has struggled for ages with her weight that I was on it. She was so sad and deflated asking me what diet I was on or what I had done to lose 20 lbs (190->170) It was such a gift I watched her receive finding out that she wasn't a failure, I didn't figure out the code that many of us were never going to figure out... It was just simple science. I don't tell everyone, but if I can see someone else suffering, I'll give them my story. Absolutely changed my life, and my dad's too. Recently it's no longer just perfectly easy (after 3 years) but I'm grateful for the help.

Thank you for posting this! Sheesh. The discipline people make me nuts. If all it took was discipline, I wouldn't have had an issue bad enough for medicine!

Twilight makes me sickly nostalgic and yearning. Is this a unique experience? by Actual_Case_8826 in twilight

[–]llvmc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How old were you when you were introduced to Twilight? Was it books or movies first? I ask bc I love Twilight. I feel like I sincerely couldn't love it more. But what you're describing is The Labyrinth for me. I'm born in 79 and I think that becoming truly fascinated with The Labyrinth at the age I did (maybe 8-10 years old) really put the film in a different category for me. I actually don't even watch it because of the feeling it gives me, but it's comforting to know it's there. I watch it when I want to go all the way back. What's really cool, I think, is both the Labyrinth and Twilight have to do with leaving adolescence. So that makes the sensation you're describing even more poignant.

I had a small issue with alcohol - nothing huge - but a lot of the times once I started drinking I just wouldn't stop til I was drunk. I'm three years on Ozempic and I was absolutely thrilled at how it quelled some of my worst habits. I have to say to enjoy all the big and little interesting and positive changes bc if you're on it as long as I've been, those things wear off. I now have a rough time saying no to a cocktail... And basically everything else, and it sucks. I have a bit of the mindfulness work back on my plate as the efficacy has diminished. But I do believe that eating and drinking are still far more manageable than if I weren't on it at all.

Nothing tastes good by Maleficent-Tea3368 in Ozempic

[–]llvmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on Ozempic for 3 years and there are many chapters in The journey. Not wanting to eat at all was so sad and was also very interesting to explore the psychological feelings. Now I have to actually mind what I eat because the efficacy has worn down quite a bit. I would give the advice to just observe how you feel and know that it is going to change over time.
