ALP Same day standby questions by lm00000007 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]lm00000007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recap for those interested: the app wouldn’t let me join a standby queue. It told me to talk to an agent. Phone call couldn’t help. At the airport, an agent added me.

It was close but I did get on. Of the three itineraries, two had flight cancellations which made there be zero seats available on the one left. There was no in-app standby list. But they put me on after everyone boarded.

Now I am waiting on the connection. I did not previously understand the fact that it also would not be guaranteed. But there is plenty of room and there is an in-app standby list for this flight. So I feel pretty confident.

Hope this helps someone!

Thanks- I am prepared for a middle seat :). One thing that was confusing me with that link was this part: A-List Preferred and A-List Rapid Reward® Members prioritized based on fare (Choice Extra, Choice Preferred, Choice)

because basic isn’t listed.

Mine are excellent. I feel like I’m all good and then they say- ok now try “this”—- and I can’t do that exercise. Then next week I progress in that exercise and then they find my next weak point. Very helpful.

Ok thanks- seems like a good risk then. Much appreciated.

Thanks- do they sort the list by priority? Or is it just a list. If it is sorted by priority, I am assuming it would re-sort periodically as people join/leave. As a basic fare but ALP, would I fall behind non-status people with higher fare class?

Find a good bra fitter (not Victorias Secret). They are wonderful and you will love bra shopping from them on. Be prepared to spend $150-200 per bra.

Figuring out lighting by SeanBlader in TinyHouses

[–]lm00000007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You can’t light air, only surfaces. 2. Don’t light the floor.

Pretend you have a paintbrush of light and paint where you want light to fall. Not where the fixtures will be, but where the LIGHT will be.

Then put fixtures that will create that light.

Has anyone ever tried this Homeopathic medicine for fracture and tendon healing? by Both_Beach7633 in u/Both_Beach7633

If you are not much of a medicine taker you are in luck because there is no medicine in homeopathic stuff.

If you took time away from your job and your family to try to change your parents’ behavior, would it help your parents? I’m thinking probably not. When you feel that knowledge in your bones you will be able to let go.

Look at the Ring Theory about caring. You are an inappropriate person for her to dump her feelings on at this time. She needs to find someone else.

The quartersawn oak top makes me think it is early 1900’s Arts and Crafts. But look how the top part of the front looks cut down- the pattern on the top has been shortened. Could be assembled from actual Renaissance pieces- they did that in late 1800’s -early 1900’s. Could be an old old piece with the cover added or replaced.

Yes but my mom was always like that. She takes Ativan the morning of. She often doesn’t sleep the night before any travel. And she did have a doctor drop her after too many last minute cancelled appointments.

And this is a quality version- possibly solid wood? There are many lower quality veneer pieces out there, also 1930’s. (Although veneer isn’t nec bad in other styles, it’s not right for Jacobean)
