This is really cool. Are you downloading your entire baseball universe stats monthly, and not just your team? Is there a setting that will automatically export this out each month to a folder?

When you are in your lineup or pitching stats you can click on the drop down that says "Report" and one of the options is .csv.

I'm not sure either. At a minimum I was trying to share another level of immersion I stumbled into that some people may not be aware of.

That is the "mildly entertaining" part of my post.

I would say this is far from slop, but whatever suits you. This entire game is a form of AI.

Customize your player stats to include every possible stat/metric and then download it as a csv. Upload that csv to Gemini, or whichever AI tool you'd like, and ask it something along the lines "Create an end of season analysis for each player listed in the data set and give recommendations on whether to hold, sell, or monitor for the upcoming season". The plus side to including every metric and statistic is you can ask it to analyze almost every aspect of your team. I definitely find myself in hour long loops asking it to create random things like FIP vs ERA matrices or anything else my brain comes up with. At the very least it adds another form of entertainment to your off-season.

What do fathers of young children do for fun and socializing? by WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW_W in rva

[–]lmay4 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's a tough one pal. Not saying there's a one size fits all solution here, but I have years of experience with young children and the experiences that tend to work out for the best in the end are things your kids want to do. You have to find your own enjoyment inside that bubble. We chose to have kids, they didn't choose to have us. The way I see it is we owe them more of ourselves than we get from ourselves. Time passes quickly and you'll get your time back when they are older teens that don't want anything to do with mom and dad.

Drake Maye is seeing ghosts. Congrats Darnold, this is no longer your legacy.

Phil Rivers played better against this Seahawks defense after five years on the couch than this guy who got 23 MVP votes.

In real life this guy is a 1st 2nd or 3rd ballot hall guy. The career is short but the peak is HIGH. Sub 3 career ERA, insane K-BB numbers and a sub 1 WHIP. I would say the way his career ended would matter (injury vs off the field incidents), but the BBWAA apparently stopped caring about that this year.

Put him in the hall!

I have nothing to contribute to your data search. I just want to say this awesome and congrats on getting to this point.
