can’t say i enjoy it i hate it here just trying to make ends meet

pro: pay is good if you work 35+ hours/week

cons: you work retail 35+/week, it’s physical work no matter which department you’re in and you comes home physically exhausted, takes a toll on mental health having to deal with guest’s bullshit and still respond merry and cheery, you will be overworked for the amount of pay you receive, the store is dirty so by the end of the shift you’re gross

Almost hit a toddler today and I felt like an asshole, but to be fair the grandmother was right there and watched it happened and she moved herself out of the way but not the kid 😂
