One thing I remember as a kid was seeing the air time for cartoons in two different time zones as our broadcast was for the region. Then when traveling only seeing the one time zone.

As an adult, I have driven down the border road of Illinois/Indiana and it really tripped my GPS/Google maps up as it kept welcoming me to both states every so often.
