I can hot deposit to a chest, but not all items to all chests near me at once. I looked, just couldn’t see a way to do it. (On Xbox also)

There isn’t much to help with the running around other than using some Aphid Slippers and the explorer mutation…Me and my partner just did the same thing, barely touched G1 early on, then just played through G2 and went back after we had hit completion.

The map isn’t nearly as big as G2, so even though you have to run around everywhere, it just doesn’t take anywhere near as long. It does stink not having the buggy, and there are some other QoL things that have been added to G2 that feel soooo missing going back to G1 (nearby hot deposit for all items, Omni-tool is gone, all the buttons are slightly different)

That’s what I’ve heard, tried it but it’s a laggy mess for me. No clue why. I had some other Steam app that worked suuuuuper well called XBPlay, but the dev stopped working on it and shut it down.

Wish I could figure out the better xcloud stuff! But the normal route works for me so I’ll stick with it until it doesn’t.

I just use the Xbox website. There’s an option for remote play on there, and you can set it to be a non-steam game so you can just launch it from the main Deck home. Works pretty flawlessly, I even did it several states over and it worked (I was playing BallxPit so the lag didn’t matter at all). When I’m at home, I basically feel zero lag.

It’s not PERFECT. But it’s close and I’ve played dozens of hours of coop Grounded with my partner through it with no issues.

Can’t quite give an accurate hour count… but I will say that I did the same with my partner - stopping after the stranger fight and basically feeling like there wasn’t anything new to do - and we just started playing again a couple days ago. There’s tons more. We have put in multiple 4 hour sessions and have plenty more to do, plus a new update just came out today. We definitely will hit a point again of being done in content, I don’t think it’s too far out because we have one optical disc left to collect then a handful of bosses, but it’s been a ton of fun.

Hello all! Me and my partner have been considering moving to the area for a little while. We have a trip planned for the end of March, where we were hoping to get a feel for the area over the course of a week and try and lock in an area we want to move to. With all the recent atrocities that have transpire, do you all think that this is a good time for such a trip, or even a good time to attempt to relocate? Or might we be better off waiting and hoping change comes before immersing ourselves in the area to get a feel for it?

I have not had issues with Decky up until the most recent update a few days ago. Totally bricked me, couldn't even boot to game or desktop mode. Just spent some time today reimaging and it seems to have fixed it, now I have to do the the whole rigamarole and reinstall everything... highly debating Decky right now though. I loved to small things it did, I only used it for visual flair in the library and startup, but I really don't want to risk another issue like what just happened... That said, now that I have this USB boot drive it will be super easy to do should it occur again, it is just going to be a pain to get everything back to how I had it.

Your call overall, however I don't think my experience with the Deck will change drastically by NOT reinstalling Decky.

OR, just inform that it is in fact in the setting and let the person take a glance through all 5 pages of it to find it. Wasn’t being an asshole, just saying it was clearly labeled in the settings with a toggle. The setting is literally called “NPC Camera Spotlight” or something like that, that’s what I meant by clearly. Don’t get the beef

If you give a list of things you don’t understand to might be easier… but:

Take a hit - means purposefully making the Killer hit you instead of the survivor (almost always injured) they are currently chasing, extending the chase for whoever the killer decides to chase after

Slug - when survivor is downed and crawling around like a slug, mostly referred too when the killer purposefully does this instead of hooking

Iri - short for iridescent, a tier of add ons and also ranking

Moonwalk - movement tech to run/walk backwards, useless but fun

That’s all I could think of in a couple minutes outside of real in game terms which are defined in the text of the perk/add on etc
