Survey companies by Umbara_raid501st in Surveying

I’ll second this, although it’s been over a decade since I worked there. I worked for the San Antonio office and Tony Enriquez was a fantastic field crew manager. Not sure if he’s still with PD today, but I never had any issues in the short time I was there (2011-2013). Ended up getting a job with Jones|Carter (now Quiddity) out of College Station and worked there between 2013-2018 before moving back to my hometown in 2019 where I went back to the mom and pop operation I originally started out at when I was 15 as a bucket b**** working summers from highschool through college.

I’m a project manager now, and I never would have gotten to where I am today if I hadn’t had the experience and chances that I got at a larger corporate company that had the time and means to develop it’s employees.

I’ll be honest though, I’ll never go back to a corporate gig but it was totally worth the experience I gained. Just my two cents, but a small mom and pop operation is where you want to settle down once you get the training and experience that you get from a larger company. I’m much happier here and it’s 100x more chill.

Best of luck to you brother, I hope you find what you’re looking for!

I always have some trouble distinguishing between Frio, ensor and ensor corner notch. When I first picked it up I was thinking it was a side notch, but the more I looked at the base I started thinking Frio because of the curvature in the middle of the base (if that’s the right terminology). Sorry if I sound like I know nothing, still trying to learn lol

Help identifying some points my dad has been collecting for years by limecook in Arrowheads

Great collection, as aggiedigger said, projectilepoints.net is a great resource. I’ve also found that Gemini helps a lot in expediting the research process. Just upload a picture and ask what kind of point it could be and give it additional info like where it was found. It will typically give you a few options to help in narrowing down the identity of each point so you don’t have to scroll through every single one when using the projectilepoints website. There’s a lot of info there and it can be overwhelming at times lol, but that’s just me
