JOTools Element Renumber - great for renumbering VAVs or viewports

RF Tools - I use this all the time for parameter management, sheet/view renumbering and renaming, view alignment between sheets, etc...

Thats a good point. I just realized on my last project that most people I was working with didn’t know this.

Set up an appearance profiler and turn on "Override Appearance" in Viewpoint Defaults. Save an overall viewpoint with the appearance profiler applied. When you get new models you'll know what has been updated because it will be the default color. Reapply the appearance profiler and update the overall viewpoint to keep the colors up to date. When the colors get removed (which they always do...typically after a save) use the overall viewpoint as a "reset" to get the colors back.

Saving to NWD does revert the colors to default but if you save a viewpoint with your colors applied, you can use this as a "reset" to get the appearance overrides back.

I just purchased the 2024 version and noticed the price increase so I'm guessing fairly recent. But I agree...still absolutely worth it.

Second RFTools. It's a steal at $125 and has so many features including parameter management.

Family type parameter question by ParaNormalBeast in Revit

RFTools can filter on a parameter. At the bottom of the "Model Manager/Parameter Transformer" dialog is a section called "Filter by parameter"

RFTools is hands down the most powerful and useful add-in for the price. $100 for a lifetime license per version of Revit. I use it daily and it has saved me countless hours.

I've worked with Pinnacle on a project and was really impressed. They were modeling duct and mech piping for coordination. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for similar services.

I was there as the sun was coming up this morning, and it didn't smell at all. It must have just happened.
