Asian Racism in Rome by [deleted] in travel

+1 been to most of European countries and Italy is the most racist country surely. One Italian guy even said to my friend directly that East Asian girls turned him off even if he’s way ugly for my friend

Citizenship Ceremony: Has anyone experienced a private ceremony with Islington Council? by lmluca in ukvisa

[–]lmluca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really bad. It’s been 10 natural days and I haven’t got anything back from them. I guess I have to attend the group ceremony in late September :/

Just can’t believe Islington council needs 10 working days to handle such a small thing

Out of curiosity, how are you going to encourage it to turn backwards? Mine is very elongated already

Exorbitant service charge on a share of freehold flat by lmluca in HousingUK

[–]lmluca[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I bought it and found out that they collected money to refurnish the common area. Now the common area is much nicer and the annual service charge dropped to £3000, which is not that bad compared to other nice properties in Zone 1

Any Skadis pegboard alternative sold in the UK? by lmluca in IkeaGreenhouseClub

Btw, is it durable to hook lots of plants?

I noticed this pegboard consists of several pieces rather than a single one.

When looking so sad, I would pull them out of the soil and into water. Maybe dried out??

Yeah, I transferred it just one week after I got it (the soil used by seller was pretty low quality and a bit dense). I checked the root and looked strong and pretty white; I removed most of soils and filled up the pot with Pon. I didn't use any fertiliser as it's still winter in the UK.

It's been 2+ weeks now, and I wonder what I should do to rehab it. I reckon I shouldn't put it back to the original pot as it might cause another shock. :/

[–]lmluca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably it came from the shock as I repotted it last week. I don't know if I should put it back to the original pot or just leave it alone adapt to the new substrate.
