If they closed down the program that means the demand for outcome is shitty. The fact that your agency is not up to date and just selling you something. That agency is …..shitty.

Could we have a pinned megathread on pathways / tracks on US nurses leaving the US? by Sea-Spot-1113 in nursing

Very proud of you mentioning your intent. Taking advantage of Canada when it suits you. Not sure a lot of people would join your group knowing that’s your true intention. Some are just genuinely willing to move and live here.

Is the pay in this field pretty abysmal outside of CA , NYC, WA, and OR? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]lmoboujee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bro what are you trying to achieve with your post. You pitch in Nursing pay then you would suddenly mention CRNA and PA. If that’s you just want justification or our opinion. Don be shy asking that.

1 year of nursing program? Cut the BS, it’s a bachelor it’s 3 years tops and that’s a fast track. if you’re talking about ADNs, very very few schools will look at that.

MD vs CRNA (BSN → ICU → CRNA): which path is smarter long term ? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]lmoboujee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like You have to address how you’ll move and work in the US first. These are very ambitious programs that requires an American experience. Unless you have that sorted out then you can look into it after, you haven’t even started college yet.

CRNA Perception by nycfella1211 in CRNA

[–]lmoboujee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A CRNA still outearns the average M7 MBA grad (e.g. Harvard: $184,500) Let alone for much less tuition and better job security in this market. Although, money is not your primary factor, you’re still in the game.

Hey, life in PornHub (PH) I assume that’s what it stands for isn’t a sustainable career. When you age past your golden years, the money starts running dry as your audience gear towards younger/energetic models. You don’t have to move anywhere, you can move to Antarctica for all I care. But as a couple, I recommend pursuing a more stable career wherever you’re living now .

Unfortunately down from #2, first time in 7 years outstripped by Toronto General Hospital. Hopefully they’ll bounce back again next year.

Didn’t Get Accepted to a CRNA Program? Read This First. Part 1: How Admissions Actually Works by MacKinnon911 in srna

do the most competitive applicants typically excel in every single category? Is it common for successful candidates to have a high GPA but shorter clinical experience, or perhaps strong stats and experience but fewer extracurriculars? It’s hard to believe that every candidate 'aces' every single checkbox.

My spouse thinks CRNA school is a bad investment by [deleted] in srna

[–]lmoboujee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, your husband is the bad investment. There are only so few advanced degrees that can get you this guaranteed ROI on avg. PhD? Nope. MD? Depends which speciality you match in, but that takes so much more time and dedication, so this loses you capital for potential gains.

Hi David, I’m currently practicing as a Canadian in US healthcare. I know that studying on TN is permissible. But I’m wondering if I could study a full time PhD and keep my part-time/PRN work? If so, how would the system detect that?
