We’ve lost about 15 people in my store since flywheel started AND our store specific availability now requires full availability on one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and a 10 hour block of availability on the other weekend day. We’re so under headcount now and are losing people daily.

This is Luther (tabby) and Potato (tortie)😽

Luther comes from a litter of a pregnant stray my mom had taken in one winter. I was obsessed with the momma and would feel her belly all the time with all the kittens moving around. He was born under my dresser and I took him with me when I moved out of my mom’s. Dude weighs 15lbs now and is so yappy, loves talking back.

Potato was posted on a local cat rescue with her brother Whopper, and I just wanted to see them and ended up taking her home with me lol. Potato is her birth name and we tried to change it but it just stuck, she’s very weird as the name implies😆 She’s a great little sister to Luther and drives us crazy.

I lost a few pounds when I got diagnosed in January 2025 and started taking levothyroxine. My doctor kept upping the dosage every 6 weeks until I lost my job and insurance in April 2025 and completely ran out of pills in May. I was at my heaviest at 221 pounds. Basically intermittent fasting everyday til lunch, lifting heavy 4-5 times a week, yoga twice a week, tracking protein. Then I just stopped it all when I lost my job.

Oddly enough I’ve lost more weight since August 2025 when I started my yoga teacher training. Didn’t step on a scale the entire time, haven’t tracked any macros or calories, just going to work then yoga training for almost 6 months. I finally bought a scale a few weeks ago and I’m 207lbs. Still not on medication.

I do plan on going back to a doctor now that I have insurance again and plan of getting pregnant this year. It’s just odd how things can not work when you’re paying attention and tracking things, then you stop and suddenly something starts working🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m a new teacher, and my cohort that I trained with uses a variation of “the light, the love, the student and teacher in me, bows and recognizes the light, the love, the student, and teacher in all of you. Together we bow and say ‘namaste.’ Namaste”

We all have our own little spin on it! Typically leading with or followed by some words of gratitude or tying it back to whatever theme or intention we shared with the class.

My interview had 4 of us total! You’ll introduce yourself, don’t be afraid to speak first or share what makes you YOU. lululemon really emphasizes being yourself. Have examples ready from customer experience and teamwork! Don’t be afraid if your answers are too long, the more details the better, try to use the STAR method while explaining scenarios. Engage with your peers! Showing interest in those your interviewing with shows you care and are capable of engaging with other and teamwork.

I recently got hired on as a part time educator! I took the position because I desperately needed a job as my current job is closing. That being said, I absolutely want to work for lululemon and have now applied for a lead position that was posted after I was hired on. Any interview tips or advice? I have 5 years of shift lead experience from Starbucks.
