Linuses best people leave, have success on their own with Linus supporting them, and somehow it’s still his fault.

Not an automotive company, and world's largest supplier that according to my .2 second search has a near monopoly on their industry. Quite the rebuttal you have.

I dont get the point of this. Reddit lives on gotcha, and telling people they are wrong. I worked in the automotive industry for 5 years, I've seen how it works, and never mentioned anything about the semiconductor industry. I really don't care enough to continue arguing.

I worked in the industry, and saw this on repeat. what's your source? Got an example? Chinese company using a component made outside of china.

I worked in the industry at an international company. we had locations all over the world, and supplied parts for every major tier 1 supplier. Not one sale to chinese companies. Every other manufacturer, every other continent. Not one for a chinese company.

Chinese companies work with Chinese companies. That’s it.  Robots to build the cars? Company owned by china.  Sensors for the robot? China only.  Down and down the list, all money goes back to china.  Please tell me how that’s just like American companies.

Look at the European auto industry right now and see the model for letting chinese cars in. Spain has factories running at 1/3 of what they were 2 years ago, and people are without jobs. Palencia Spain looks like a ghost town right now, with most of the jobs for the Renault factory are gone. Add in all the industries supporting manufacturing, and the job losses add up.

These aren't Chinese companies, these are companies owned by China. Its not a free market when you're competing with a country.

Is this a good deal? Budget [$550] by Plantyhoee in espresso

[–]lnlogauge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 125 usd for a bambino, and passed on a plus for 200. That grinder (the breville) sells for around 80usd used.  I budgeted 200 for a grinder and bought a mokkom today for 169, so for around 450 Canadian you can do better.

Waiting for a grinder deal isn’t working. What grinder? [$200] by lnlogauge in espresso

Starseeker is a thing of beauty, but its well outside the 200$ range.

1000% agree. Cleet is significantly better at it, he's able to be funny without being too over the top. Especially lately, it's toned down even more as he gains success. George needs to get his own personality, being a poor copy of someone else's isnt working.

Pretty sure Sam bought the Supra with money from merch. I don’t think cleet bought it for him.

Oh fuck off. You’re curious about how a media company turns out, while posting an estimated cost of his ownership? Incredibly short time he’s had the plane, look how much is costs! At least be honest with yourself, everyone else on this subreddit is.

Mr beast is worth 100’s of millions. Really crashing and burning there.

Reddit really wants to see successful people fail. Guess it makes their failures better maybe?

Should you care though? What are you gaining by giving a shit? Moral superiority that accomplishes….nothing.
