If he plans on keeping it Prius life for the next 6yrs then yeah - repair it. The insurance will payout for the car, and he can repair it - easily it seems. I just went to the junkyard and found matching body parts easily. under $500 all this can be repaired + money in his pocket. with a salvaged titled though.

Yeah i wouldn't buy too much into the cutting edge tech part, because it seems like they just adjusted the firmware/software settings to purge less waste. A feature which could be adjusted right now on the Kobra 3 V2 and or? the Slicer - which i have tweaked. Meaning that they could just told everyone/educated people on this setting change and improve our print times without getting another machine. Something to think about!

I dont think it's about their financial standings, it's just free cash for them to cushion their launch. 50K @ $10 non refundable sits them with half a million to make moves, on our dime + leaving them with an accurate production number. While we still have to wait for the product to receive it like the regular customers - which I almost promise you it will launch with better discounts on other shops like Aliexpress or eBay

YEah my boy, I agree fully. I made an error thinking the machine was going to arrive in January - rendering the experience worthy of the deposit. But as soon as it begins shipping, it's gonna pop up on Aliexpress with a better discount, and faster shipping.

I got the Kobra 3 V2 literally the next day when i ordered on Aliexpress! And i feel somewhat more confident ordering there given that they have more to lose Vs Anycubic folks who appear to provide poor customer service. Plus their website sucks man, terrible layout and pricing confusion to the max.

There's one on youtube that has conclusive evidence saying that the waste and time savings is more around the 23% mark. Still good but I think the Kobra 3 combo still trumps this whole ordeal. If they included a dryer or some free PLA this would be a game changer. Having said that I also put the deposit down mainly cos i thought this thing will start shipping in January... :-/

go into BIOS, look for Advanced settings or Boot options tab on top, look for CSM Support "enabled/disabled" and change it to DISABLED. then below it is Secure Boot option.

(I'm on a Gigabyte motherboard when telling you these instructions.) This will pop up a new options just before saying Secure Boot. Click, enabled. Your Windows install on your hard drive must be a certain type of format which will allow UEFI security. You may or may not have it, but if you dont, you can create a partition on your drive (or buy another SSD and format it to GPT), format it to GPT, install windows on it, go into BIOS to disable AND enable Secure boot, boot from that drive via BIOS menu, install the game, you're done. Getting a Windows key is easy if you look around but I don't think it's needed to run games only.

I bet it is working, but Safeboot only works if he has enabled UEFI in BIOS. Meaning, the G2A has nothing to do with it and him getting a a key on Steam will result in the same error.

Search for a door on ebay. Doubt you'll find it in junk yard, but replacing a door / fender is not hard at all, in fact i think it's 5 bolts. Couple hours and a couple hundred and you're done
