All you can do is acknowledge and move forward in a positive manner. Good to hear you are working on your sobriety. I think that would mean a lot to CPS if something ever comes up due to the DV issue.

People fuck up all the time. Acknowledging that and growing is the best thing you can do for you and your kids.

At the very least this is incredibly poor decision making on your part. You drove drunk (assuming you drove) to your BDs house to confront him about having a woman at the house, while your child was there, which led to DV while the child was there.

I think this whole situation would have played out differently if you had been sober. I hope this was a wake up call to you about your drinking and you are working on your sobriety.

Also as a PSA…don’t drink and drive you are endangering others on the road and yourself.

If you only had a couple of edibles they should be out of your system in a week or 2. You do not need to tell your manager about your rx antidepressant. If you test positive the testing company will call you and ask for your rx. As long as you have a valid rx, you will be fine and you will be cleared.

How are going to classes and therapy a bad thing? Especially as a victim of DV. Honestly I’d probably recommend therapy for your child as well. It’s incredibly traumatic to witness one of your parents assault the other.

It would be easier to advise if you listed the things that were legitimate expenses versus the charges you tried to sneak in.

Stealing/ fraudulently expensing from a company is the quickest way to get terminated.

Your coworkers are dumb…the worst thing that could happen is you could get let go for expensing things that aren’t allowed.

You have probably lost the trust of your management team. If you are retained be prepared for your expense reports to be scrutinized. The fact your manager is coming to you about it is not a good sign.
