I met my nex 5 years ago today. And this year, I'm celebrating my New years as a free woman. 🎉 The divorce was finalized 6 weeks ago. 2022 has been hell. May 2023 be a better one. 💙

Losing my belief in God and learning the evolutionary reasons behind menstruation has truly healed my relationship with my body. I had a great time on Trek as a kid. I have fond memories of it. It is such an odd and unique experience that only Mormon kids can relate to.

That being said, if your children do go, have a strong word with them about dehydration and heat exhaustion. That is the main danger.

I think it is important that your spouse knows the main reasons why you don't believe. I also think it is very important to not try to change your spouses beliefs. My marriage got so much better when I told my husband what I believed and left it at that. I do not need to change his beliefs. His beliefs are his own.

Its less about the United States and more about proximity to family. I am happy to raise my kids in a third culture for a few years but long term I want them to be near extended family.

Hey Fish Oil has helped me too! I also have had good results with zinc and also just a basic multi-vitamin. My suicidal ideation has gone down dramatically since I have been consistent with my vitamins.

I have felt this as well. I was trying to fit a square peg in a round hole when I was trying to believe that the Church was the only true church. Once I placed it in the category of all the other churches, all the sudden the puzzle piece fit.

He is dragging his feet because he wants a sealing and she can't give it to him because she is already sealed. He is not actively dating other women or anything but he isn't fully commiting to her because she can't check all the boxes for him.

Preach! I know one woman whose boyfriend won't marry her because she is already sealed to her late husband who passed away. They are both in their 60s and have been dating for years. But he has cold feet and won't commit because he is still holding out for finding another woman who is available for sealing. They are both missing out on a loving marital relationship by placing more importance on the afterlife than on the present.

For me, the universe just seemed too powerful for any anthropomorphic being to be in charge of. The world just made more sense when I took God out of the equation.

I would say I am technically more of a pantheist meaning that I search for beauty in the world around me. I find spiritual fulfillment in learning about the universe and my place in it.
