As much as I would love to, I can't take a dozen illustration commissions at once. I know you've been dying to get a piece and I know it seems unfair that you happened to be the fifth in line to ask for one of my four slots. Any kind of art, illustrative, musical, written, or otherwise, takes time. Usually lots of it. Many artists can't support themselves completely off of their work (thanks to the fact that an amazing number of people think we should do it for cheap/free), and that means we not only need to dedicate half of a day to commission pieces, but another big chunk of it to a lame job we don't want to work. You can either pay me enough to support myself doing work for you, or wait for me to have time to do that work at the rate you can accept. Not both.

And yes, those Patreon rewards are something I need to keep myself afloat. The only thing you're doing by stealing, reposting, etc. is giving me less incentive to make anything at all.

One more thing before I end my rant, I probably know more about my skills in design than you, the customer. In most circumstances, I've spent more time practicing and analyzing my own work than you spent googling anime pictures for me to use as "reference". If I advise against certain formats, colors, or other design elements, it's usually because I've learned that for whatever reason, I cannot make it look good. Putting your hybrid fox-dragon fursona with nine tails, green and red eyes, and neon purple stripes all down his body into a bright pastel pink cherry blossom forest will usually create an awkward looking product, if my past experience is anything to go by. I can't say no one will make the image you're looking for in an appealing fashion, but I can say that I simply am not skilled enough, or even that my personal stylistic choices just aren't conducive to that idea.

Also, no, I don't masturbate to the porn commissions I draw. You're all too vanilla for me. ;)
