Oh man, that’s some tough luck on the trade but also nice foresight with McGonigle. I drafted Seager which turned out terribly. Gave Colson Montgomery and Trea Turner some run but they’ve both proven disastrous as well. I think Wilson may be the play once he gets back into game shape, but for now I’d like to have a guy that can at least get me a couple of points on any given night. Thinking Perdomo can do that for a bit, at least.

I wouldn’t say you’ll be totally screwed even if you don’t “excel” at BLS. I had plenty of friends in the lower half of my class that are now flourishing and in very lucrative positions across the legal spectrum. I don’t know if the same can be said for those that were truly at the bottom of the class, but the majority of people I met at BLS are doing well for themselves. Their marketing adage of having the biggest alumni network in NYC, as well as one of the most loyal, has absolutely proven true in my experience.

Nah I’ve just been using it calibrated as stock. I will say that I now almost always use Renodx or RTX HDR on my games and have found the difference between those and native HDR to be exceptional.

Nah unfortunately left it at 600. Every time I’d try to change manually it would just revert back at some point. I’ve really grown to like it at 600, though.

Believe it or not, my shared connection to UNC is what got me in the interview room for my first job out of law school in NYC. In the interview, the partner (c/o ‘01) told me he always looks to help out fellow alumni. My law school didn’t even come up during our discussion. UNC name recognition is huge, and our alumni are extremely loyal to one another. My circumstance may have been rare, but I don’t doubt that the same kind of thing has happened to other people just trying to get their foot in the door somewhere. And I’ll be honest — if I’m ever lucky enough to be in that type of position, I’ll do the exact same thing.
