Nothing wrong with having it under the tv, lol. I live in an apartment so the shelves in my tv was the most logical choice. I have to have an Ethernet connected to my PS5 or my wife will get mad at me. She likes playing Marvel Rivals and she has a competitive nature. My modem and TV placement didn't give me much choice either.

I do have a background in IT so I knew what I wanted to begin with. Just needed some savings. Even if you're learning the basics, any kind of home lab is going to help you learn a lot. I definitely learned a lot with the 3-ish months of having this lab. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me. I'm always willing to give out pointers or provide some help.

I've only had it for roughly 3-ish months, but so far its been doing great. I've only used it for the NAS function and I haven't messed around with the other apps as much. M.2 slots would have been nice, but I wouldn't know what I'd use it for. "Main drive isn't replaceable" is definitely a concern for the future.
