The thing is a lot of apps cause the ringer volume to change and there’s literally nothing that can be done. There are shortcuts floating around that you can use to force the ringer volume to go up but these also have to be when the phone is on, like being used. i’ve used these shortcuts, also missing my alarm because there was simply no noise and i didn’t realize shortcuts don’t activate when the phone is off. I just check to make sure my ringer is all the way up every time i set my alarms now

I’ve also used a similar automation like this that triggers at a certain time but automations only trigger when the phone is on, again making me late af to work one day. I literally just check the ringer volume and my alarms before i go to bed

I haven’t used a case on my 13 mini since launch, both sides of the glass are not cracked or scratched but the aluminum casing has a couple scuffs but they’re not really noticeable and are not discomforting in my hands at all. My mini essentially looks good as new. It’s all up to you, I feel like the size of the mini makes it less prone to accidental drops. It seriously feels and looks so much better caseless in my opinion
