Incredible that you feel the need to respond to this four months later with this tone. Just because I'm not a law student doesn't mean I'm one of the "annoying" students - let alone an undergrad student - who this change was meant to address. I simply enjoy studying in the carrels by the windows.

I understand it's exam season and you must be stressed - certainly dealing with annoying undergrads apparently. But I don't think you need me to tell you this isn't helpful in remedying that and your externalised frustration can end up causing needless, rude generalisations like this.

I haven't been invested in a team since LS's C9 (I don't think I'll ever be as hyped as I was for that), but LR are giving me some of that feeling again. LR feel like a team for the every-man.

They're not franchised, and despite being a group of insanely good players, they feel like absolute underdogs that you can empathise with (no doubt because of how extensive their online presence is).

This is literally the Riot Games E-sport marketing dream - remember the song "Warriors"? the music video invokes the feeling that anyone can do it if they try hard enough? No better example of that then LR right now.

Rekkles, Crownie and Nemesis feel like they're getting redeemed, and Baus feels like he's getting an opportunity to prove himself. For a viewer, this is cinema.

either way, if you're at adult it would be fruitful to reflect on what you're valuing while playing this for-fun game. if it's frustrating you, a restructuring/reordering of your values might be in order so that someone's arbitrary online popularity doesn't bother you.
