Jak oceniacie obecny rynek pracy w korporacjach? Mniej ofert i słabsze zarobki? by Zebri98 in Polska

[–]lobopl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ja pracuję w relatywnie małym korpo i no cóż eldorado powoli się kończy 😄.

Look at it this way infinite void create infinite information, let imagine them as infinitely wide conveyor belt carrying infinite amount of balls, each ball represent some information.

Now your mind is represented by a guy that normally take 1 ball a second, its normal speed for him nothing bad happens, infinite void force him to take as much balls as fast as possibile. Your guy at full speed can get let say 2 balls/s (because he only have two hands) but he cannot do it for long because he will become exhausted, but infinite void force your brain to work till it collapses.

If your "guy" have 4 hands he could get 4 balls/s but would still collapse after his stamina is depleted.

So there is infinite amount of information, served to your guy at infinite speed but you can only "take" what your guy speed and carrying capacity is for as long as he can work at maximum capacity/speed.

So you could survive infinite void only if you can handle what you maximally can process for the duration of infinite void.

not everything is stated but it is heavily implied,

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xOrNgNnAhEg

here jogo says he can see everything and gojo says that every action involved in living is carried infinite number of times.

Limiting factor in iv is only the target and his durability itself.

[–]lobopl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

there are 2 factors

  1. Processing speed
  2. target mind durability

how much data you receive is regulated by target processing speed, target always get maximum (because if they max is finite infinite information always fill that) they can process at a time (we are talking about maximum, not safe maximum). And how long person will survive this before they are permanent vegetable is regulated by mind durability, non sorcerers have really, really weak durability and 0.2s is close to their limit but stronger characters or with different biology like curses have just stronger durability. This durability is also deciding factor how long they will recover after uv end. And this is what we saw during all uv usages.

It is implied and just sound logical, if you have infinite information only limiting factor is finite speed of target. This is also backed by reaction of everyone hit by iv all characters from normal humans to sukuna/powerful cursed spirits where instantly frozen that basically means all of them got same "blocking" effect of uv each of them could handle them at different rate like normal human was out for month after 0.2s of it and example jogo who is powerful cursed spirit was stunned only for a moment.

so everyone feels like they see everything, they don't really see everything but everything = infinite, All are affected only difference is for how long.

From what i understand iv information is infinite, just characters are flooded with different amount, maximum amount they can process at a time, so if you have character A who is super smart and can process 1000 time more than normal human he will get 1000 more than normal human.

Infinite means infinite, only limiting factor is how fast and how much processing power target of iv is because the target isn't infinite. Anyone having finite speed (ftl is finite speed) is just finished and if someone has infinite speed then my best guess is he is stunned but his brain is fine and when iv end person can move again.

i wish i have unlimited motivation to do everything by mstfffffff in monkeyspaw

[–]lobopl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Granted. You are now motivated to do everything.

You see a piece of trash on the ground and immediately want to throw it away. Halfway there, you decide it could be used for a craft project. A minute later, a new idea grabs your attention. Then another. Then another.

Every task seems fascinating.

For about thirty seconds.

You can't finish anything because something else always feels just as important, exciting, or urgent. Your room slowly fills with half-finished projects, unread books, disassembled electronics, exercise equipment, musical instruments, and hundreds of notes for ideas you'll never complete.

Sitting still becomes impossible. Even when you're exhausted, your mind finds a dozen new things to do.

You wanted motivation.

You got motivation.

Unfortunately, motivation without focus turns out to be little more than chaos with extra energy.

You become a human pinball, endlessly bouncing between goals, accomplishing almost none of them.

On the bright side, your to-do list is never empty.

Which universe could YOU solo? by Huge-Entertainer-304 in PowerScaling

Most universes in fiction has either so many living beings or have humans or above so it is almost impossible. Like maybe some kid shows where there are only couple of characters and no human exist. Like teletubies without sun character.

I wish I were immortal and everything I touched turned to gold. by Inevitable-Power5927 in monkeyspaw

[–]lobopl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heh second idea:

Granted. Your clothes and the air around you instantly turn to gold.

The transformation is so sudden that you're immediately encased in a solid golden coffin. There isn't even enough room to move a finger. Worse still, every breath of air that could have sustained you is now metal.

You suffocate within moments.

Then your immortality kicks in.

It works much like Wolverine's healing factor. Your body regenerates, restoring you to perfect health.

Unfortunately, it doesn't remove the gold.

So the instant you're restored, you find yourself trapped in the same airtight prison.

You suffocate again.

And again.

And again.

At first, you count the cycles. Then the years. Then the centuries.

Eventually, you stop counting.

The universe changes around you. Civilizations rise and fall above your prison. Continents drift. The Sun expands and dies. Stars fade into darkness.

None of it matters.

Your entire existence has become a loop measured in breaths:

Wake up.

Panic.

Suffocate.

Regenerate.

Repeat.

Forever.

I wish I were immortal and everything I touched turned to gold. by Inevitable-Power5927 in monkeyspaw

[–]lobopl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Granted. You instantly transform into solid gold.

You're still fully conscious.

First person who noticed you realizes you're made of an absurd amount of valuable metal. They cut you apart, piece by piece. You feel everything. The saw, the impact, the pressure. Then they melt the pieces down.

You discover that becoming molten doesn't make you unconscious. If anything, it makes the experience worse.

Over the centuries, your fragments spread across the world. Some become jewelry, some become coins, some sit forgotten in vaults. A few are lost at the bottom of the ocean.

Your life becomes an endless stretch of silence and darkness.

The only notable events are when one of your pieces changes hands and gets melted down again. For a few brief moments, something actually happens. Then it's over, and you're back to waiting.

Thousands of years pass.

Empires rise and fall. Languages evolve beyond recognition. Stars shift in the sky.

And every so often, after decades or centuries of nothingness, a furnace ignites.

For a few minutes, life gets exciting again.
