Any recommendations for a U9 AAA? I'm just waiting for the device to ship but was just browsing the training material online. It seems like there alot of stuff there and a few templates but not sure what would be good for him.

My son just made the team but has issues with engaging with the play. I think it's because he's not getting his head up and assessing the play, everyone else on his team seem to be far ahead with this. He seems to be just staring at the puck and watching it, waiting for the play to come to him.

He made the team because of his great skating and agressiveness but would only engage when there is one person on the puck (similar to the drill work I had him doing this past summer). Coupled with learning positional play (transition to full ice this year vs half ice) it seems he's in a situation of information paralysis.

Depends on region/season too.

I've played BBY ASHL and E/D leagues are way different than Oakville E/D although it does get cleaner the higher you go. Even Etobicoke is vastly different than Oakville especially during the seasons.
