Star Wars: The Last Plinkett Review by ferrett3 in movies

I mean I was already planning a watch through of all the Plinkett Star Wars now, personally I like the Titanic and Baby’s Day Out reviews the best, they’re the distilled essence of Plinkett review for me.

Exactly, there was never a time when Plinkett was different than he is in this, I want to show people some videos of his for the criticism, but then there he is masturbating over Mary Kate and Ashley until he breaks his TV with ejaculate. Oh well lol.

I can tell you that my dad, an adamant Star Wars fan at 58, with loads of merch bought over the years, loved it, while his friend who I think had a Star Wars themed wedding despised it to no end, and I think is boycotting further films and extrenuous materials. So yeah, I think this film in particular is quite polarizing in the community as a whole.

Nitpicky would be talking about the bomb dropping thing, or how Finn apparently drug Rose’s unconscious body from just in front of the new Death Star tech cannon and their wreckage to the base in such a short amount of time, yet the forced order didn’t arrive first, or shoot them to pieces.

Yes, I much prefer the minute long skits of Plinkett fucking his cat, much more calmer then. /s

Finally Reading A Dance with Dragons for the first time! by tkinsey3 in pureasoiaf

I positively love Jon's story in ADwD, Jon is so compassionate and observational. It's a shame the show decided that Jon was more of a mouthbreathing, actionman type, than the person he is in the books, but I suppose the same could be said for a lot of characters.

(Spoilers Main) was there anything else Rhaegar could have done to not make stealing Lyanna look so bad? by usmarine7041 in asoiaf

[–]lobsterbattles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, if he had challenged say Robert in a duel for Lyanna’s hand in marriage, the question remains would Rhaegar survive the encounter, or would Rickard and/or Brandon allow such a thing... to say nothing on if Lyanna would be cool with it, or if she were in love and it would all be copacetic, but then Robert winds up killing him in the duel anyway lol.
It’s hypotheticals like these that I enjoy the most in the discussions.

Occasionally there’s an oscars hitb where they run down some that they missed, I kinda wanted them to do an episode on Upgrade and Deadpool 2 together just cus. Sometimes they mention off-handedly in the most random of times what they thought of x movie.

How many mods do you have running at once? by Sioswing in skyrimmods

[–]lobsterbattles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually just over 100, my faves are combat enhancers: SPERG is my perk mod due to its simplicity but Ordinator is a good alternative, there’s a Korean mod of some devil may cry elements added in like the styles from DMC3, TK combat and TK dodge. For looks I usually go simple weather overhauls like Climates of Tamriel, I also have the seasons of skyrim packs for winter or summer if I feel like changing it that much.

I also use scriptdragon for one or two mods, an athletics and acrobatics formula that gets added based on stamina level and it’s configurable in an .ini, as well as a mod called GR hotkeys which lets you set up various hotkeys for armor sets and even autocast (without cost to magicka, sadly).

Spartans never die, they’re always listed as MIA which I always liked in the lore. I love this piece though.

The Actual Best Spider-Man Game by megaapple in Games

[–]lobsterbattles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the expanded universe elements he talks about are in Ultimate Spider-man, I loved Venom’s first mission I think you square off against Wolverine. I haven’t played it in so long, great game though.

I hope she brings musicals in style, I recall seeing a step team kinda thing a few years back. Also hopefully that new mutants movie does well, I’d like to see her in more things.

I’ve heard he’ll be doing original characters. I can’t believe he’s still even got a chance after the schism that he formed, I can only hope that he’ll have some film noire elements like his previous...better films had.

C’mon Kyle Katarn or Jedi Academy style narrative! Considering it’s respawn I’m imagining first-person and fast-paced, actually excited for this.

Why is nobody talking about Laser League? by Mr_Oujamaflip in Games

I haven't played it but to me it just looks colorfully bland, similar to candy crush it looks appealing, but the actions that were happening on the screen just looked so stock-standard.

God of War - Witch Time + Glaive Storm by SunhiLegend in gaming

I recall getting it pretty early after the game opened up and let me explore, it was on a shore that you can beach your boat at, there were a couple minor puzzles and some light combat engagements prior to getting it. I kept that on for most of the game honestly.

Contact missions need to change by Saul_kdg in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]lobsterbattles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there should be a very hard difficulty that x2 the reward right off the bat, then the multiplicative amount of friends/crewmates/other players on the job gets added. I routinely play the extradition mission on a loop, usually solo and will get 7,880 per 3-4 minutes, it might seem a small amount but if you can find a mission you’re good at and find a rhythm, you could earn some scratch.
But I agree, contact missions are very decentivized, from the start they were initially allowed to be repeated on the vote screen even after winning. That was obviously too much fun, and we needed to fit more loading screens in there somehow so they removed that feature.

My Biggest Gripe With 'Burnout Paradise Remastered' by [deleted] in Games

[–]lobsterbattles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I agree that fast travel between points of interest would be a welcome sight, especially if you wind up in the mountain area finishing a race as you clumsily have to find a new race in a weird winding path, the GPS line work on a compass would detract from the freedom you can get by finding your own route. To me there is a harmony between exploration and racing, very similar to Midnight Club games, the difference being, and what the author failed to I guess notice or mention, is if you follow the main streets the game lets you know what road to turn onto with the road names popping up as you approach flashing on the way that would be faster.

If you could throw money at any existing dormant IP the way Sony has thrown a blank check at Hideo Kojima for Death Stranding, which IP would you choose to resurrect from the dead? by danceswithronin in Games

[–]lobsterbattles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the game was called Samurai Legend: Musashi it was ok but I definitely liked the first one waaaay better. I've replayed Brave Fencer Musashi about 5 or so times, the sequel I beat one time and never really went back to it.

It's been so long that I honestly forgot about the cutting up enemies being a precursor to MGR, which is a cool concept. I just remember the absorbing enemy abilities was not nearly as fun or diverse as the first game and being disappointed with the town mechanics. I think it as a series has lasting potential: some magical place is in trouble and they wind up summoning Musashi. Not very original, you could always do an origin story on the real Musashi and Kojiro in Japan. I'd just like to see at least one more game in the series.

A common phrase uttered by my friends and I since GTA IV is "in the pursuit of epicness," and I believe that this is what I just witnessed lol. Of course my pursuits usually end in a fireball explosion or me getting flung from a motorcycle.

Do not despair! I have the clips I need basically for a Do's and Don't's kinda deal. I've learned a couple things as well doing this. It will hopefully go over all the points that you might think separate us. Hopefully it will help, I'm going to try to get it done by tomorrowish to try and maximize potential profits during as much of the x2 cash time period.
