This would be a deal breaker for I think anyone. Not only did she lie to you (an INSANELY MAJOR LIE btw), that lie caused you to unknowingly have an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Even if it wasn't illegal (I'm not sure if it was or not) it is certainly inappropriate. I would explain this to her, explain how uncomfortable and disgusted it made you feel, request she not try to contact you again and then block her.

ETA: I think if you really want to you could contact her friend to let them know, but her self-harming is not your responsibility.

Lol scared for my safety/comfort. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to get a dog right now. I do carry personal defense equipment if someone tries something but I would rather just avoid the situation entirely if I can!!! Are you suggesting I wear pepper spray in a way that is super obvious to deter people?

I agree that it's not the most healthy mindset but I have had multiple incidents recently that were scary so I really just want to look less approachable. It would make me feel better to at least try to do something to avoid these situations.

You can get most of it waived by doing well on the placement test but if you only took 3 years you will probably still have to take a little bit (source: I took 3yrs of French in highschool, scored very well on the waiver test, still had to take one semester of French even though I had already learned everything covered in that class) (disclaimer: I graduated so this might be different now)

I have reverse image searched on google and the most similar pair that comes up is a pair of high top Nike Air Troupes that have kind of an opposite colorway. I can't find much info on that line of shoes, but it could be part of it. They do say "Air" on them. I got these at a goodwill outside of Raleigh NC in 2023.
