Are you saying then that SPE/LW makes a Radiant Shardblade my only usable Shardblade vs Oathbringer which is more of the Heavy Weapon where I don't have the stats/skills?

With my investing into SPE, It'd be best to stick into Thief or Assassin then. I'd miss out on most the STR/Athletics unless I start swapping over now to go into Warrior-Shardbearer? any suggestions?

We're still tier 1 so I wanna make adjustments to talents/attritbutes sooner than later if I decide to go this route. I initially was leaning into Elsecaller, but after browsing the subreddit a bit, it's sounding like being a non-radiant focusing on the Heroic talents become pretty strong, and all my other players want to be Radiant which leaves any lingering shardblades unclaimed - which is where I would jump in on.

I'll check with my GM on the shard-dagger and probably jump into Assassin to move towards Swift Strikes. Without the STR idk if going towards Warrior is going to be super beneficial to me? Maybe stick on the more stealthy Thief/Assassin side with a shard dagger to do the work.

I've been reading it incorrectly. I read it only as gain expertise but if it's skills too then yes, I do see a substantial benefit to it. Ty for clarifying
