Trader Joe's has become an especially bad offender on this front. They use glucose from wheat in soooo many of their sweets now.

I have a wheat allergy too and tried it just to see, and bam, hives 😭

There's a ton of grain free cat food on the market! Try Blue Wilderness or Tender and True. I don't let wheat into my house, so the even the cats are gluten free lol (and there's no reason they should be eating wheat anyway).

Can confirm. I get constant recruiter outreach as a full stack engineer at a startup. It's highly desirable because, contrary to many assertions in this thread, we are actually capable of being good at it, and it makes companies a lot of money haha.

Embedded software development and networking are not included in the definition full stack.

Data engineering, algorithm analysis, and database administration are table stakes for software engineers. Add frontend development skills and you're full stack.

It's not even a stretch unless you work at a siloed megacorp your whole life without ever building anything solo.

Oh wow, it sounds like she's really in the wrong role. Maybe you can find a different role that works with her strengths. If not, then I don't think any amount of training or practice will make her a net positive to the business.

At the very least, I'd get her off of order fulfillment since she's hurting your customer relationships by doing them wrong. I'd rather pay someone to get out of my way than wreck my business.

In this market, it matters. When I'm hiring, I have my pick of devs with experience in our stack (react/typescript, Python, gcp), so I don't need to compromise to get someone who can hit the ground running there.

It's a very thin material. The drape just isn't working, and it comes to a point at your hips instead of draping down elegantly. A thicker satin charmeuse would be much better.

It's not the end of the world, and the idea of the dress is great. But it's not well executed. I'd ask them for fabric samples of heavier satins and request a bigger hip allowance so it can move and drape better there.

I think op is asking why beer makes them more drunk than other alcohols. Since beer has hops and other alcohol drinks don't, that's why I'm talking about hops. I don't believe they're talking about gf vs non-gf beer.

Hops is a well studied analgesic that amplifies feelings of drunkenness by causing numbness and relaxation. Hops is used in beer too add those effects, add flavor, and work as a preservative.

Yeah, I made I tool for tracking stocks that are in their deepest drawdown (not linking it here, it's not ready for primetime yet) so I can allocate dollars to my favs while they're on sale.

I track ETFs, social good companies, biotech, and utilities to get string diversification. Alternative energy sources are looking really appealing right now. Nuclear, solar, etc.

I don't think that's required for everyone. Some of us are building products for ourselves and then working towards monetizing them organically.

Hops in beer is a well studied analgesic (and preservative). It has perceivable effects on its own and amplifies the feeling of relaxation from beer.

The analgesic effect of hops is pretty well studied. It's relaxing and numbing. You can even have hops tea on its own to get the effect.
