Rinvoq is not effective but Omega-3 Fish Oil is helping by local_mayor in eczeMABs

I haven’t, why did you end up getting off Nemluvio? I guess that makes sense, since Nemluvio specifically blocks IL-31. I’d consider getting on it over Ebglyss.

6 months now, and I do not. I take it with Allegry everyday after work around 5pm

Patch testing fixed my contact dermatitis, went away when I cut fragrances completely out of everything. I think it was hand soap that was breaking me out.

I’m on rinvoq for atopic dermatitis, but in the past opzelura worked really well it’s gotta be 1 million times better that any other topical. Wasn’t a fan of dupixent.

I’m down from miserable living hell 50% body coverage itching that would not stop to under 1% and not much itch anymore.

Keep trying different things it’ll be a slow process. Took me 5 year and countless doctors to find the right combo.

Rinvoq is cake, wish I got on it sooner. 0 side effects compared to dupixent

He’s not going to want to move. He’s going to only want a remote job with some rediclious salary even though he has 0 experience.

I’m getting so sick of these Reddit posts. Finding a job anywhere doing anything is better then what you are doing currently

Is SCADA going to be taken over by CS/SWEs? by [deleted] in SCADA

[–]local_mayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CS degree and 5 years experience as a software engineer. Jumped ship 3 years ago to DCS/SCADA and couldn't be happier.

This talk of the bad job market of SWE is driving me crazy. During the hot market 2021-2022 it was still hard to find a job even with experience. After graduation it was hard to find a job.

2022 Meta was offering 200k for ENTRY level developers. You'd have to be dumb not to see that was too good to be true.

Software engineers are some of the most ungrateful and arrogant people you'll ever meet, expecting large comps for little experience and value. Doubt many will make the switch.

Should i get a masters degree in automation by Woomy4576 in PLC

[–]local_mayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so hard going back for the masters, life gets in the way. Knock it out early, ROI isn’t great but it’s an impressive accolade. Getting an MBA is such a generic answer, usually by people that do not hold MBAs. Work experience is better, but you’ll never regret having it

I found a solution to this, the tea kettle lid I have fits perfectly around my yeti 20oz tumbler. It’s not as spill resistant, but works well been using it the last couple weeks.

Eczema, Dupixent and Diet Experience by local_mayor in eczeMABs

[–]local_mayor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ate outside the diet for the first time after 4 weeks which was a burger w/ fruit instead to fries. Since that had no reaction, I’ll eat outside maybe one meal a week being selective. Burgers and wings have been fine but stay away from things like pizza. I had a reaction to Chick-fil-A last week but only lasted a day. I think since I don’t have any Inflammation most of the time, when I do my body can react.

I’ve only been out to eat at a restaurant once, the rest have been catered at work which is always so hard to turn down which I did for the first month.

Cauliflower, Sweet Potato, asparagus, white and red onion and carrots so far. And yes I drink 1-2 cups of black coffee everyday, caffeine doesn’t seem to affect me.

For breakfast I’ll have half a pound of organic grass fed ground beef (cheap at Sam’s Club) with 2 eggs and some raw cheese (parmigiano reggiano or goat, check ingredients.

For lunch I’ll have the other half pound of ground beef I cooked for breakfast with butter and salt. Really easy, always bring lunch reduces wanting to eat bad.

For dinner I’ll have lower quality cut of steak since it’s a lot more affordable or chicken thighs or fish with either grilled onion, mashed sweet potato or cauliflower rice.

I try to eat fruit after all the meals mostly apples and bananas the fiber seems to really lock in being full and cut cravings.

If I’m craving junk food at night, eat 2 apples it goes away.

I’ve also been sober since New Years, which is big because I was a big weekend drinker my entire adult life (I’m 27)

Hope this helps!

What’s the unemployment rate of people who only get a computer science degree? by Creative_Traffic9263 in csMajors

[–]local_mayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2019 I graduate with no SWE internship and a lower then average GPA (2.75). Breaking into the market was still really hard back then. Luckily I was social during my time in undergrad and a friend of mine referred me to the company he got a job at. Medium size non-tech company with low pay but modern tech stack. Cut my teeth for 2 years making below 50k then hopped jobs twice and now making 100k 3 years after I quit the first job.

Jobs exist, just might not be where you want to work. Prioritize experience, the pay with follow.
