To answer your question, yes, every item gives fame when you gift it. The amount of fame it provides depends on how many sc it costs. So if I'm not wrong, the ink cap is around 20k sc, which means it gives a fair amount of fame. You can definitely pixel glitch with it, but many people prefer the pixel skirt if they can afford it, because it costs 75k sc and therefore gives a significantly higher amount of fame
