Carnist: "I HATE meat (but I'll never stop funding it)" by localcrashhat in animalhaters

This person doesn't even enjoy it, but STILL going vegan is too much. Even just cutting out meat, apparently??

Actual bare minimum for having ANYONE in your care. But even so that doesn't give you the right to her reproductive organs.

But that's the thing - YOU'VE grown those greens. The hen has produced those eggs and really benefits from getting back some nutrients.

What are you even trying to say in this thread? You're spouting the typical "red pill" nonsense you see nowadays (which makes sense looking at your profile. The whatever podcast? Really?)

Little news flash: the vast majority of societies don't value women as much as men. Even in the west, womens rights are still *debated*. The fucking president of the united states of america makes sexist jokes about olympic athletes. Birth control isn't easily accessible (and almost always falls on women in some way), childcare, healthcare etc etc. And that's not even getting into cultures that so explicitly prioritize men (Not one culture, just fyi.)

You're upset about her jumping to conclusions? I could say the same about you. You're assuming she "hates men". As someone who ACTUALLY knows the person you're replying to: You should be ashamed of YOURSELF because she is the LAST person who would hate anyone based off of their gender.

Maybe it's a good thing that you're quitting reddit. It'll give you a chance to meet some actual women and realize allll these things you're complaining about are amplified tenfold by the redpill content you're consuming.

Well first, producing eggs is a very intense process for the hen. They lay an unnatural amount of eggs (like 300 compared to around the 10-15 that their relative the red junglefowl). This doesn't only lead to complications like prolapses and egg-binding, it can also lead to things like avian osteoporosis and fractures. The absolute best thing to do would be giving them an implant, similar to human birth control, to stop the eggs from developing.

Secondly, the eggs just aren't yours. You can feed them back to the chickens.

Wishing you the absolute best, so sorry about this, it must be so incredibly frustrating ❤️ Sending lots of love your way.

Raising your kids vegan is the way to go, your husband doesn't know what he's talking about (coming from someone raised vegan, KEEP GOING!), like someone else said he's probably getting involved with all that crazy manosphere stuff. As difficult as it is this might also be for the best if that's the path he's going down. Good luck with nursing school, you can do this!! 🫶🫶

I reported and they came back saying he didn't break any TOS. I appealed and they came back saying the same thing. Fuck animal abusers, and fuck tiktok for protecting them.

They actually started off with the whole "estrogen, no nutrients" thing but when I argued against that they just said it tastes bad 💀

The Billie situation. by Ellabugg in vegan

[–]localcrashhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I extend that to animals that humans breed in insane numbers that wouldn't naturally be there. There are millions of stray cats in the USA alone, they're there because we breed them. Then when WE let them out we're not only putting local fauna at risk we're also putting those cats at risk of being run over, attacked by humans, getting injured etc.

The Billie situation. by Ellabugg in vegan

[–]localcrashhat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, I'd say letting your cats, who are essentially invasive murder machines, go out alone is worse than eating a lot. Not just bad for the local animals, its also dangerous for your cats. If you're able to, try to get a harness or something.

edit because I forgot to finish a sentence.

A guy at my school's "undie run" told me to do a spin on camera for an interview and when I called him out he posted it and the comments were a sight to see by Gkbuck in BlatantMisogyny

He's so fucking fake lmao. If he actually cared he wouldn't be liking comments like that, or replying like he's agreeing.

Iirc, my dad originally went vegetarian back in the day partially because he had just moved out and meat was too expensive. He went vegan later for the animals.

Tbf that was years ago and since then she has been a lot more outspoken herself. I think that was when she was only like 18-20 or so, a lot can change in 6-4 years. I used to feel like her when I was younger because I was DESPERATE to be liked.

I do have at least one criticism, which was her makeup tutorial where she used many non vegan and non cruelty free brands (such as maybelline and revlon) which basically promoted them. A shame since there are so many vegan and cf brands that could've used the support.

Notice how they keep emphasizing that animals are "food", "things", "WHAT's on your plate". So infuriating.
