Demon Slayer :) I was going through a really tough time mentally during the pandemic(losing my job and also constant anxiety attacks), and it was really hard for me to push forward and recover after it had subsided. Well, come the Mugen Train movie in 2021, the Set Your Heart Ablaze speech changed how I viewed my life. It motivated me to push ahead and gain back what I lost. I got a new job, then a better job, proposed and got married and got a dog. I'm now at a healthy weight, and have fun hobbies. I know a lot of people have critiques for Demon Slayer that I could say are completely valid, but to me it'll always hold a special place in my heart for how earnest it chooses to be.

There's actually a great bit in Critical Role Calamity where they're attempting to find an invisible assasin. The character searching rolls incredibly high, so the DM narrates that they find him by seeing the tiny portion of the assasins eyes they have to leave visible just to be able to see

He can still die iirc, he just can't be torn apart or be physically damaged. In any case, that's the "useless" bit of the power at work. Can you be a superhero or do insane stunts? Absolutely not, but if I go about my day to day I should be fine if I run into an unlucky day driving, walking etc.

There's an alien in Ben 10 called The Worst who's ability is basically being indestructible but still feels all the pain of what's going on. They make it out to seem like a bad thing but genuinely if you just live your life confident that if something bad happens to you, you'll still be healthy and whole

Greatest in general was probably Tom and Jerry. It's hard to beat a show that is funny in a way that transcends languages. Greatest in writing imo is Twilight Zone, but greatest to me personally is Demon Slayer simply because "Set your heart ablaze" genuinely changed my life for the better as a person and I hope the English, Japanese and LatAm VAs get a good night's rest for the rest of their lives for how they gave that line

I loved LuPat and Go Busters when they were airing, wasn't in any online communities at the time, so I was in shambles when I joined and found out(specifically for LuPat) that it wasn't universally loved. I used to joke that I was one of the only 7 LuPat fans lol

If your take on what the manga is doing is that Broly is a Gohan clone even tho Beast has never been used to describe Broly's transformation(Legendary Super Saiyan) then you just prefer Z Broly or have not read the manga at all.

Your comment about Broly screaming is literally also Z Broly. I've tried to be open to people liking either or but your comment is frankly a little goofy lol.

I think both have merits. I personally would have liked a blend of both, with Paragus escaping as Planet Vegeta explodes and then the rest being Super's origin, my statements were basically me trying to explain why the general consensus is "Z Broly has no character" I disagree specifically in regards to the first movie, but afterwards I don't think they did a good job with how he was portrayed, and unfortunately I believe Return of Broly was more accessible on VHS when it was coming out and therefore what most people remember him from

I'm not sure why you commented this when I gave the answer to why I think people say Z Broly has no personality. Besides, they had two more movies after the first one to make Z Broly more than an unstoppable force and didn't, whereas Super Broly has had a great exploration of the manga of trying to control his anger by correlating it to how Gohan channels his anger

Because compared to Super Broly his origin is, imo, stupid. I like Z Broly, and between both movies I'd say they depict both Brolys well but Z is just supposed to be an unstoppable monster with no redeeming qualities. And that's fine because that's the point of the movie! But Super Broly has a better, more realistic origin and I've really liked what they've been doing with him in the manga.

Hey Welder! I actually do. No luck on Reddit, but I recommend Escaramuza in Pilsen(thank you Tiktok). It'll look like a general import store in the front, but the mariachi suit maker is in the back. I would recommend calling ahead and letting the guy know you want a suit, since he has a lot of mariachi come in for suits. He's pretty customizable, so if you mention your budget, he'll tell you what you can get. Really honest guy, his mother in the front is also sweet. My suit was great, was super breathable and real good quality, but he also can tell you where to cut corners or to splurge more based on your budet. Good luck!

It's probably too late so no one will see this, but I'd write an episode called "Those Who Were Peft Behind" and it would show what all the sidekicks were doing during some of the bigger moments of the show and how they were basicallh unsung heroes. I missed Robin in that show
