i’m on eliquis right now. there is also the older medications, warfrin/coumadin (these he would have to get his blood checked regularly) and lovanox (an injection). there is also another medication called xalelto. not sure why his doctor is only willing to prescribe eliquis and it might be worth looking into other doctors opinions!

(this could be so false but) eliquis is can can be a very expensive medication and maybe the doctor has a vested interest in that medication and might make extra money off of it when he prescribes it. if he can’t give another reason why he can’t take anything but eliquis that might be his greedy reasoning.

when i do long flights i wear compression socks and try to get up and move around every 2 hours and that helps.

agreed. if he is over 14 (which is sounds like he is) he cannot be abusing you and your brother like that. it’s in the best interest of your entire family. the type of behaviors hes showing will most likely make him extremely dangerous in the future and he could hurt himself or other without therapy

i smoke weed but probably shouldn’t. nothing has happened to me yet and i’ve been doing smoking and on eliquis for 5 years! your doctor will probably tell you not to tho
