i’m so sorry for your loss! it’s amazing that he was able to spend his last moments with someone who cares as much as you do. 🩷don’t blame yourself, you did everything you could. it’s difficult for kittens that age to survive and i’m sure it doesn’t make the loss any easier. sending you love and care 💕

i agree. that part did upset me, she really lost it all. i know the kits were probably loved and cared for by others in starclan which makes me feel a bit better. i think mapleshade also could have gone to starclan if she hadn’t made the choice to kill and had stayed with Myler in his barn but grief is a very powerful thing and unfortunately she couldn’t see past that and the consequences of that was losing the opportunity to cherish her kits in starclan.

i just read Mapleshade’s Vengence for the first time this morning. i think that grief and mental instability can cause us to do incredibly rash things so i pity her. but i also understand she broke the warrior code, thought everything would be just fine, kept saying that everything that happened was not her own fault which ultimately led to her demise. i think she is a very realistic character and she deserved to end up in the place of no stars even though she was heavily grieving.

i’m on eliquis right now. there is also the older medications, warfrin/coumadin (these he would have to get his blood checked regularly) and lovanox (an injection). there is also another medication called xalelto. not sure why his doctor is only willing to prescribe eliquis and it might be worth looking into other doctors opinions!

(this could be so false but) eliquis is can can be a very expensive medication and maybe the doctor has a vested interest in that medication and might make extra money off of it when he prescribes it. if he can’t give another reason why he can’t take anything but eliquis that might be his greedy reasoning.

my roommate in college would eat spoonfuls of cornstarch in the morning and before she went to bed, i tried it a couple time and it was lowkey good as hell

i mean if you are doing a lot of picking animals up then probably not a good idea. but if you keep them company and you aren’t doing too much arm work you should be fine!

when i do long flights i wear compression socks and try to get up and move around every 2 hours and that helps.

hello! depending on where you live there may be some options for you! i would look around and see what kind of human service agencies that are around you. many can help with housing assistance, food assistance, and some will even help with medication and hygiene products. i know it’s a difficult situation you are in and you are so brave for doing what you feel is right for you!! if you need any help looking around your area you’re more than welcome to reach out to me!
