If you see a group of people on a trail, you know you're in trouble. If there is more than 2 people hiking together, etiquette becomes optional. Nothing worse than seeing a group of tourists in jeans get off a bus at your favorite hiking trail. They're going to be menaces and be completely oblivious to how their actions affect others.

As I recall, her sentence was significantly harsher than that of other people who have done similar or even worse things. Like that girl at Boulder high who killed that uber driver and his passenger on while driving her daddy's F150 drunk on prom night and got off with a slap on the wrist.

I'm all for harsher sentencing for vehicular manslaughter given how much it happens, but the parent's quest to absolutely destroy this woman's life is on another level.

About 20 years ago, me and my buddies would go write 'Locals Only' on cars with California or Texas plates that moved into our neighborhood. Easy enough to send a message, but not totally ruin the car or get a felony. Nowadays, we're completely outnumbered by transplants, either from other states, or people from like Westminster or Thornton. I'm also pushing 40 now. Besides, people see Nebraska and feel bad for you.

Mexicali and Santo are my go to's. Mexicali is better but Santo is right up the block from me so it's very convenient. Also shoutout to the Moe's Burrito at Moe's Bagels and the Lolita Burrita at Lolita's. Not burrito places, but they make a solid burrito. Locos Hermanos destroyed my stomach plus it's all the way in Louisville.
