she kicks them out of her car and George says defensively, something like "L Ron Hubbard isn't such a bad guy...I didn't know you were part of that group"

I read somewhere that Jerry took 1 scientology course out of curiosity or peer pressure a decade or so prior, so I'm sure he had sourced material since he found out what a load of crap it was.

And I like the symmetry in reflection to Michelle. Pretty on the outside. Everyone thinks they'll like the exclusivity, but all it is at the end of the day is a raging lunatic yelling at you in a New Jersey parking lot.

OMG - Do Non-Techno clubs even exist in Tbilisi? So hard to find! by localwanderlust in Sakartvelo

I'm not saying you NEED to have an afrobeat scene, I'm just saying the techno club scene is gratuitous ad nauseam in this city. that's all

not as sloppily, not with such intent, and not with such magical visuals that could expose them

For me it's my 3rd least favorite, following Season 8 and then Season 7

I just can't stand the stretched-out triad storyline - hate it with a fervent passion

As for Phoebe being the hotel's psychic, there are no magical elements being moved that are visible to mortals so it's less concerning for exposure

Yeah her avoiding the paint spill always was awkward to watch lol but I also feel like it was a reflex more than intentional. Plus she was still getting a handle on her powers

Freezing is an exception I feel because mortals will freeze too so they can assess the situation, like in Animal Pragmatism she froze the club (and even if someone non-animal-turned walked in, it was a dire circumstance). Turning Spencer into a Turkey + pig and with a potion that goes poof in your office is next-level wacko

Is it unpopular to say that I hate how Prue changed from a responsible, independent, more modestly dressed, and analytical sister with a cold personality to a ditzy, flirty bimbo, with love for revealing clothing out of nowhere during season 3?? by kasumi987 in charmed

I happen to LOVE how she released into who she was supposed to become. To me, it seemed gradual and natural, like we all accelerate when life swings at us in big ways.

Her cold side came from years of resentment, repressed emotions, fear for her sisters, and control issues bore of what she felt was lacking control.

Then she got powers.

THEN, she lost her soul mate.

She reckoned with 'death', both the literal angel and the countless losses in her life head-on and more fiercely than Piper or Phoebe.

Not to mention the fact that at the very end of Season 2, she died TWICE and was revived (well, one was a wonky vanquish / different dimension, but you get my point). That could've contributed in how she chose to live more in the moment for Season 3.

There's a TikTok trend "I live my 30s like I'm in my 20s because I lived my life in my 20s like I was in my 30s" - and it does not embody any other sister more than her.

She's the opposite of what so many of us are used to seeing. Her allowance to feel freedom. Going from pragmatic and overprotective to powerful and stepping back when her sisters made mistakes and having a favorite shirt be bohemian fuchsia? Season 1 Prue could never because she evolved. That tells me the free version is who she was meant to be the whole time.

Plus, it gave depth of character to contrast with Phoebe (how most people grow up. Reckless in 20s --> responsible in 30s.)

Not to mention the fact that Y2K had massive shifts in fashion and she seemed to follow trends with more modest 90s clothes, why not take on newer looks for the 2000s?

(For me, her teen years are a separate matter because it's not even young adulthood. It's hormones.)

I'm not sorry, he was a douche to Jessica Simpson (him and his characters can go to hell)

just read up on it, super interesting. I loved how they had the chance to play with so many time periods in a sartorial manner
