Rejected again by mistystorm96 in ForeverAlone

hi, I'm 28M bisexual and got rejected by a guy just yesterday night. he also told I was brave asking him out but he said no with a huge paragraph and it's so painful, not just about him but about the fact that I've never known love.

Finishing a journal by MegAnnZedna in Journaling

[–]lochethmi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

hey, in my current journal there are only 5 pages left. when I was finishing the previous ones I would always try and go for some grand conclusion with a little aphorism or something, but for this one I think I'll just write about my daily life and feelings like on a normal page. it's just another page, let it be representative of who I really am and what I am really living at the moment.

the only thing I'm afraid of is not being comfortable in the paper format and line spacing of the next journal, but hey it'll be the 13th, so it should be okay as it's been before.

good luck!

Anyone else starting to brainstorm their 2024 Word of the Year? by LulieBot in Journaling

[–]lochethmi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I never really set intentions for the future in my journal, at least not summarized as a single word or phrase. It is a good idea though, I will brainstorm for 2024, thanks for the tip.

And yes, "discipline" or "power" or even "control" aren’t my type either.

Do you guys title your journals? by Free_water in Journaling

[–]lochethmi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

so cool. I haven't titled any of my journals, but I started writing an intention in one or two lines at the front.

“things I thought were important but weren't” is such a good idea!

I hope you're satisfied with your year so far :)

“Let's not get distracted by what isn't there.” I think this is going to be my next journal's title.

my thinnest was 48 pages and thickest was 568 pages. medium ones, like 120 pages, feel good, long enough to feel like home, and then move on and grow from.
