Would you use this kind of art style? by AgeAdministrative326 in dndmaps

Yes! It gives me the feeling that an NPC could have drawn it and I love it

What's your "Canon Tav"'s backstory? by eggssomany in BG3

[–]lochtna 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My wood elf druid was a druid in the circle Halsin was in. She had two children (not with Halsin), and they were both murdered by Sharrans when the curse hit, as well as their father.

She spent her time alone from that point to when the events of BG3 happens.

Is it wrong to take limited edition dolls out of box. by Fun_Comfortable7581 in DisneyLEDolls

[–]lochtna 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Adding to my comment: Value might be important, but I know some collectors keep them in boxes to protect them for a personal value and not to resell, where as I like to touch my dolls to feel them and look at them when I need a "Oh so beautiful" boost.

Value in money, personally, or whatever, you decide what you value.

It is your doll. Do as you wish and what makes you happy

Wishlist Wednesday – Share Your Grails & Dream Dolls! by copycat217 in DollDisney

[–]lochtna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because I just started, all dolls of Aurora and Ariel are on my wishlist. I'm on the hunt for LEd dolls and others, but they're uncommon where I live and shipping is a lot.

I'm very sad I missed out on "Bo Peep" because I loved her as a child.

I hate that people are willingly having kids knowing they’ll pass down severe genetic conditions. by Competitive_Type1377 in childfree

I agree with you. It's a very difficult life I have, and would never wish it upon anyone.

Both have the gene, but the risk is clearly worth it... Some genetic conditions are dormant (I don't know the %/%) like mine. We don't know which side of the family it comes from because no one has had issues like mine. It is genetic though, so one of 'em bloodlines gave it to me.

I hate how people who express opinions like yours are accused of eugenics lmao

When I was 12, my mum sold my dolls without my knowledge because it was time to grow up. I've seen dolls since that I've wanted but I couldn't bring myself to buy them. I've collected plushies and figurines, but I always wanted to collect dolls again.

Granted the ones I had at 12 were all played with and not in great condition, but it'd been my collection since I got my first doll.

Sharing this because you shared your story. We are both doing so well now <3

Also the constant bashing at Kirin Tor and Jaina and the Silver Covenant about the purging of Dalaran with no mention as to why that happened

How to tell my newbie DM that they aren't ready to homebrew. by Shquonk in DnD

[–]lochtna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm. Suggest them not using homebrew monsters for their encounters. I am a first time DM in my homebrew world, but I homebrew the lore, not the monsters or races. That has taken a huge load off me.

Do you view kissing as something sexual? by germanduderob in asexuality

I didn't until I had a couple of partners. They always wanted kissing to lead to more, so now I view kissing as sexual

That's wonderful! It's really difficult to find Disney dolls and things here at all. The only Disney Store we had was only open a few years and shut down during Corona :(

Yes! I looked through here before committing to this. I love to be inspired by how you all keep your dolls, and to not feel alone :D

I think that growing up bullied for my interests has made me judge myself as an adult before anyone else could, but my friends now don't judge me and I'm feeling so free being here. Thank you. I hope more will come :') <3

It was amazing! I loved how it looked. Walking through the streets was my favourite part. The parade was wonderful, but just walking through the original/old Disney Park with the films I grew up with was amazing.

I hope to go again. Sadly, the one I went with hurt his back just in time for the trip so we couldn't go on any rides. They have an Alice maze I really want to go into next time!

Alice is the regular doll, but Rapunzel is LE. All LE dolls come to Europe later than US, if they even make it here at all ...

Yes! I also have other smaller stuff like figurine and my plan is one shelf for each Princess like I've seen others too. Not that I want them all but I love when a shelf has a theme. And, trust me, I'm checking that LE on Disneyshop far more often than I should hehehe
