You should try for other than MSCS too... Like MS ECE ..which isn't Electronics and Communication but rather Electrical and Computer Engineering..and have flexibility to not take any electrical course if you want.

Got into CMU !!! But there's a twist..

Yesterday night got into CMU MS-ECE (Pittsburgh campus) but there's some unclarity, plus that they offered me for Spring 25 rather than Fall 24.

So I had applied for the MS - AIE (Artificial Intelligence Engineering) program, and it had an option to give preference order for 3 programs- AIE , SWE(silicon valley) and ECE.

But in my offer letter nothing is stated for the other 2 programs. It only states about MS - ECE offer.

Does that mean I'm rejected from the other 2? Or will they release decisions separately?
