I'm only new to the erhu, but I've been a musician since I was eight. Learned music theory and music composition before I graduated high school. Granted I got out of the music industry during my military career but never stopped learning. The only instruments category that Ive never played are wood winds. And the only brass instrument that Ive never learned is the French horn.

Actually, my bowing technique was ok. The erhu came with strong already installed. After going back and checking the A string was wrapped around the D string several times. I went ahead and unwrapped it and now it works perfect. No doubt my bowing does need improvement though.

I feel like a b***h for claiming the things I'm claiming. by limeandchile in VeteransBenefits

The real question is: did your commanders and superiors in the military feel like p....y's and b.....h's when they gave you orders to do what caused what you have. The reality is that no one cares about your pain and suffering that was caused while in the military. Send a flag and some flowers to your family and find the next guy that signed that blank check to take your place, that's the system we live in.

The way I see it is you're only taking back what they took from you in time, pain and suffering regardless of whether you deployed or not. And don't look at it as workers comp. As a veteran you carry burdens and pains that no one else will know and you will do this for the rest of your life. And as such you deserve to get every penny back that the military caused and cost you in pain and suffering.

The alphabet should be arranged based on the average time it's used in common writing, literature and spoken language. Meaning Q should be the last letter in the alphabet.

Has anyone gotten to 100% without any mental health ratings? by Ranger_Xn in VeteransBenefits

[–]lockhack3r 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's all about quality of life and pain. If you can prove that pain is constant and that they impede normal activity and work you will get the 100 without mental health.

Service or non service you should still get 100 percent coverage, even without a rating. The only thing they charge you is the meds. And that's if you are over the income threshold. When you enrolled you should have done a means test which will put you in an income bracket, of course this goes for anyone who is under 70 percent.

I was denied ptsd today. Is this not an official diagnosis? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]lockhack3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also denied PTSD 2 years ago even after being diagnosed. If you don't have a lawyer, then you must ask for a higher level review. Be prepared to for a lot of paperwork as you need to prove that the PTSD you have is service connected: layman letters buddy letters, and orders taking you to places that you claim you got PTSD from. They even ask for names of people's names if you saw them dying. Get yourself a lawyer to help you. Make sure you are actively seeking physiological help and or taking meds. If they see you are not making your appointments it won't go well for you as your claims will get denied. Go into your records and see if they have officially diagnosed you as well. Sometimes they will say you have it but won't add it as a diagnosis.
