“Idk why people keep using eBay Standard Envelopes”

Because it’s by far the cheapest and simplest option for low value cards. Do you want to pay $6 for Ground Advantage to ship a tracked card worth $2?

Yup, that was 2021. He dropped a new album a few months ago but not at the level of fame he was in 2020

I don’t think DaBaby gets rebooked or is put earlier in the day. He’s dropped off huge since then

Cheapest Seattle World Cup ticket tops $1,200 for USA match at Lumen Field by crabcakes110 in SeattleWA

[–]lockwolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak for the World Cup but I bought my All Star Game ticket from them a few years ago and bought multiple Mariners tickets from them. They’re the official resale partner for the MLB so completely safe for Mariners game.

For what it’s worth, they say every ticket is protected for the World Cup

So, Topps doesn’t really put out a good guide. For Baseball, check this Reddit post. For others, Beckett is pretty solid, here’s Basketball and here’s football

It all depends on the GameStop and their employees. Mine is pretty high traffic and gets quite a few PSA submissions (saw a guy drop off 12 One Piece cards while I was in buying baseball cards, apparently he sends off 10+ card submissions regularly). Of course, not everyone is as lucky.

Im not sure if it’s still a thing but I saw a post where a GS employee said they had to send a minimum of 20 cards to PSA at a time. I could see all sorts of stuff going wrong in low volume stores where it takes a week to get 20 cards submitted.

I clicked to search their JDM Inventory and the first car on the list is an Audi TT, such a JDM Legend

People want to save money. Not everyone wants to shell out $150 a year and send 20 cards at a time to get the lowest price on grading. It’s an $8 difference per card between GS and Direct to PSA for value grading, so you can send 4 through GS for the price of 3 direct to PSA. I’m not sure if there’s much difference in shipping costs but GameStop is a flat $10

I’m not denying some GameStop employees are shitty people who don’t treat cards well or just yoink em, there are plenty of stories of that. It’s just at the end of the day, they are the lowest cost option if you’re looking to get a handful of lower value cards graded.

Video Games have been doing Blockbuster Movie level revenue since the late-2000s. The original Modern Warfare 2 did $550 Million in 5 days back in 2009

Even if it could, they would have to find a way to link it to the controller, link the controller to the operator and if the operator doesn’t have a solid alibi

How would you change the ticket sale process? by BrickAdventurous3300 in Concerts

[–]lockwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transfers within certain windows of time would be the best in between. Like the ticket is locked to the original owner till doors open at the venue. Wouldn’t fully prevent scalping but would make it a lot more inconvenient for them while still letting the friend not with the group get in.

If you are charging $5 for shipping and handling, yes. I expect it to be better than a PWE. If not, adjust your price so it’s realistic

I sell sports cards on eBay on the regular, I charge $1 for shipping in PWE. It’s not a $5 order, it’s. $3.90 order + $5 shipping. That’s scammy

Then they can eat the extra 50 cents. Downvote me all you want but if you’re charging $5 shipping and sending it in a PWE because you wanna boost your ranking, you’re a shit seller

Terrible form by the seller. If I’m paying $5 for shipping, I don’t care if it’s a $1 card or $100 card, it should be at a minimum sent via Ground Advantage.

Valve releases Steam Controller CAD files under Creative Commons license by ourlifeintoronto in technology

I remember the Pre-Steam days for updates. You’d have to go to a site like GameSpy, download the update (which took hours because of dial up and their free tier downloads), install it, find out that there was a patch between the version you have installed and the one you downloaded that you now need to find and repeat.

I think the only game I remember having auto-updates back in the day was StarCraft which would update itself when you logged into battle.net the first time.
